Put up the Hawks forum, and re-designed the Nets a bit (removed the black). I'm noticing some weird spacing errors now, near the bottom of these forums, so I'll have to figure that out. I think, today, I'm going to just finish up all the banners, upload them all, and get that out of the way. Then, I'll code the actual forum colors, and get these done by Tuesday or Wednesday, so I can focus on the roster and draft pages.

I know I said I probably wasn't going to go back to doing these, but it seemed like a lot of you liked the idea when I first introduced it. Once OTR was hacked, I just never put it back up. What would be the criteria? One obvious criteria would be post count, although I don't want that to be the only one. Right now, I'm sitting on 40k posts. I know a few of us have 15k or more. Back when we were smaller, I'd give out the positions to anyone with 8k or more posts. Now, we have a lot of those posters...so we have to keep that in mind.

I'd take the chance. It wouldn't be a massive deal, but I'd offer him up to three years, $8 million a year. If other teams were to throw $10 million a year on the table, I'd probably reach, but knock off one year (as BFT would do, the 2yr/$10 mil). Aside from Howard, Oden is the absolute best defensive anchor in the league...when he's healthy. In fact, he was arguably as good because he's a better on-ball defender. It just sucks that he's having so much trouble staying on the court. I absolutely hate it.

Jeff Green is going to help them out in defending James, but the bigger problem will be not having Perk inside. I already produced the numbers proving his effectiveness on the defensive end (without Garnett as well), and I think it'll show more in this series than any other. I'm not going to pick one or the other, though. My initial pick was the Celtics, when they had Perkins. Right now, it's hard to say. I don't think Haslem will be back for this series. If Shaq isn't going to play in ANY of these games, I'm going to say it'll be a seven-gamer. Otherwise, Boston can win this in six.

Al Davis sucks. How's that for a grade? We needed help against the run. We needed a QB. Obviously, Davis doesn't care. Why did we draft Taiwan Jones? Oh, because he's fast. Demarcus Van Dyke? Because he's a speed demon. Chimdi Chekwa? Super fast. Denarius Moore? One of the fastest players we could find in Round 5. I'm cool with Stefen Wisniewski as long as he turns out like his uncle, but come on... I hate Al Davis.

How did this topic get past me? I never saw it. Bosh is my answer. Amare provides them with a more explosive offensive game, probably the man you want in pick and roll situations (and easily the one, if it's just between him and Bosh), but while the Heat are a good defensive team, they can use all of the defense they can get up front. Bosh is a better defender.

Nah...I already have a few of the team forums created. A brand new skin and banner design would basically mean that everything else was a waste, and I really need to get on with the site (as in, the draft pages and team sites). The button change is actually to adjust to the team forums. For example, the Philly forum isn't going to have a lot of black...so, instead of having a separate button design for each team forum (meaning another 30 images, more customization), I just changed the buttons to fit all color schemes.

Yeah, that's one thing I figured would be a problem. I'd switch the background to red, which is going to be darker...but then, the bars have to change to blue, and it doesn't look that great. Could just keep the background gray...don't know.

Needing to know if the Philly skin is a bit too "over-the-top" when it comes to the team colors. GO GRIZZ! I'm starting to become a closet Grizzlies fan (okay...not really, but I'm rooting for them). I like OJ Mayo and Darrell Arthur, and wish Xavier Henry would get more playing time as well (not going to happen, lol). I have respect for Marc Gasol because he's not afraid to play defense, unlike his brother. We all thought Randolph was about as useful as Tractor Traylor, but he proved us wrong. Just a great storyline right now, especially with Rudy Gay out.
