  1. Funny...I just noticed the random URL (I uploaded this picture to Tinypic). http://i55.tinypic.com/fapzit.png
  2. Wall 0-5 in the first half, zero points. Second half? 7-10 FG, 25 points. Dude wanted to win, I guess.
  3. Yeah, and China would be one of the first countries to step in, but the problem is that North Korea had no reason to do what they did (they aren't giving a reason, at least). Would China support anything they say? Probably not, but you never know. I just think China wants to stay out of any mess that could involve the US. We have troops in South Korea, so doing something like this is really stupid to begin with.
  4. The problem I have with it involves what you can't take on the plane. They are eliminating a lot of things that are necessities for some people. The last time I flew, they took away packets of honey I carried with me in a ziplock bag. I use that honey to raise my blood sugars. They wouldn't know that, if I had a severe low blood sugar, I'd be having seizures on their airplane. I could care less what they see on a scan. If they prove the scans aren't going to cause a health problem (hear that's a concern), they can put my scan in a Playgirl mag, for all I care.
  5. In the statsheet, you see the turnover and the missed shot...and that's it. That's the problem. He's a hell of a player, no doubt, second best PF in the game (and currently second best center, since he's playing the position), but he's not one to rely on when you need a dozen points in a matter of minutes. He's not one to rely on when you need a big shot. He's not the guy you want to run an offense through. Big difference between him and Kobe.
  6. And bad defense. He was getting dominated down low. Allen Iverson had tons of steals throughout his years, but his defense always sucked. Plus, the nine points...he can score better than that, but as you can see, Shannon and Odom are stepping up to help Kobe tonight, so Gasol can get his rest and start dropping buckets if/when Noah comes out of the game.
  7. Flash, just tell us how bad Pullen is playing. He's currently 1-11, not doing a damn thing to stop Irving...just admit he is sucking hard this game and getting his ass beat by an elite guard tonight.
  8. The referees aren't deciding this game, Irving is. Pullen is getting Dukie'd on, simple as that...just like he did on that beautiful break. Never blame the players, right?
  9. GREEN IS A TERRIBLE COLOR. And, good concept (Grinch, he's going to steal Christmas from all the Heaters, or whatever you call them), but the shoes look like something you should wear as a contestant on Double Dare.
  10. Bryant should look to take over NOW. He knows he's going to get pulled for the late third and early fourth quarters.
  11. LOL, Pullen is getting murdered. Nice airball, followed by that no-call foul against him, on Irving (doesn't matter, because he made the basket anyway). Beast.
  12. The only offense that makes sense for this team is the triangle. Anyone can sit there and disagree, but I've had people laughing when I said their defense was still going to be an issue, that they were all help defenders, that the trio was basically three of the same player (minus height and weight), that they would struggle, etc. The triangle offense would give LeBron a Pippen role, featuring Wade as the scorer and Bosh, Arroyo and Big Z hitting open shots. Every single player I named (in that five) can pass the ball, and they all know how to practice effective spacing, ESPECIALLY LeBron (the reason why Cleveland won so many games). They can score 100 points per game, but their offense is inconsistent. When they apply defensive pressure, they are so focused on help and closing in on shooters, they wear themselves down and fail to, basically, outscore the opponent. Because the triangle relies heavily on spacing and passing the ball (12-15 feet of spacing between each player, five able-bodied passers), and because LeBron is one of the best fast break defenders in the NBA, you put the ball in James' hands, force him to facilitate this offense, make Wade your primary scorer, and drop one back on defense (LeBron) and have four crashing the glass. The only problem is, there are a handful of coaches (meaning, two head coaches and a handful of assistants) that can coach the triangle. Jackson and Rambis, with Cleamons, Hamblen, maybe Shaw. Tex Winter will never coach again. Riley would never attempt it, and would rather coach them like he did Showtime (which could be a mistake as well). With what they are trying to run, they need a true post scoring threat, and they need more on-ball defenders. Otherwise, their season will be over when they run into Boston or Orlando in the playoffs.
  13. Shannon is playing like the 2006 Kobe. :o
  14. Haha, Gasol is not the MVP of this team, let alone the league. Here he goes again. Funny, though...at the end of the game, he'll end up with decent or good numbers, all when he gets them against a poor defender or in semi-garbage time.
  15. Stupid foul by Irving there...just let him throw it up and miss.
  16. So, if Riley steps in, who will take the blame for another 8-6 run? Just curious. I'm going with the role players.
  17. Well, he's only coached the Heat for two years, and part of this season (so, 190 games including playoffs), so I'm not sure about that.
  18. Gasol has to take the game over, no more shying away from the basket when we need him most. The numbers are there, but if Kobe is struggling, it's Gasol's job to step up. Everyone else, maybe with the exception of Odom...you can't expect that from them because they play through Kobe and Gasol. Noah and Gibson will be defending him, though. I expect to see Kobe attacking like crazy when Korver is in the game, maybe the same with Shannon Brown.
  19. The fighting wouldn't just centralize around the North and South Korea issues. If this turned into WWIII, it would be due to the production of nuclear weapons, which would involve Iran, and eventually direct its attention to a religious war. So you're basically looking at a nuclear + religious World War. You would see involvement from other countries, not just allies of those two going back and forth right now. We're talking Israel, Iran, Syria, and many others. A war of that magnitude would be devastating.
  20. You keep saying that, so why are you so quick to want to fire Spo?
