See, LA is shooting 53% from the floor, 50% from three. That defense doesn't mean much against a team that scores better than the rest of the league. When it mattered most, the Bucks shot under 40% in the third. They are struggling to keep up defensively, and it's turning them into rubbish back on offense, where they have to rely on Jennings to carry them home.

Thank you, Kobe.

Wasn't hard to assume Jennings would kill Fisher. I would love to know the exact amount of points Fisher has given up over the last two seasons. Cover the three, Lakers? Thanks.

This song sucks. Weezy's punchlines are boring as hell.

Baylor's coach screwed that up, bad. She should've kept that timeout. Just a dumb decision on her part.
-
Chill out.

Predict Jennings' shooting stats tonight.

Game has been re-scheduled for March 28th.

By the way, the problem with this... 1) Drew is out...meaning, zero minutes 2) Odom is hurt, just scheduled an MRI and it came back negative...but he's still feeling pain Despite what Kobe says, he's still hurt. His shot is jacked. I've been watching the dude forever now, and it's not the same shot, the way he's jumping off that knee. Blake missed the last game, also.

Super. Let's sign Bill Walton, so he can have the same procedure done.

I'm going to dropkick a few K-State fans. I'll never let them have my phone number again, even if they are my good friends.

Not always a fan of women's basketball, but you guys should tune in every now and then. It's on ESPN2. UConn's women are on a 79-game winning streak, closing in on the UCLA men's streak of 88.

Time for Ibaka to start?
Real Deal replied to moeroadkill's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
Might as well. The Thunder are already playing small with Green at the four, so there's no reason not to go smaller to bring in the better defender at the five. It would be nice to see Aldrich playing bigger minutes and not fouling every 30 seconds. -
Should've known. Delaney can't step up his game in the second half. Inconsistent scorer. Pullen is the decoy, and Tech lays down because they have no way of defending K-State, while State counters everyone on the other side of the court with that 2-3 zone, forcing Tech to shoot the ball. Oh well.

At the end of the day, the Bucks will need to score points. They are probably the worst offensive team in the NBA, and it's going to be difficult beating a team ranked 1st offensively if you can't score baskets, even if you're an incredible defensive team (ask last year's Celtics, who were twice the defensive team the Bucks are right now). LA is holding opponents to 44% FG, Bucks at almost 43%. LA's problem is covering the three, and the Bucks aren't lighting it up from downtown (19th in the league), and it's going to take a lot of threes to beat us OR locking up Kobe and Gasol both (which is what Denver did). I doubt both will have trouble today. But who knows. I just don't think Kobe will let this team lose three consecutive games so early in the season.

Wow, at least tie it going into the half. Missed free. Pullen is going to go off if he stays out of foul trouble from here on out. Two minutes of Pullen, and the Cats still lead.
-
Haha, wow. It's Luis Scola time.
-
Gonzaga would have at least 40 points right now. Maybe Pullen will pick up a fourth foul to start the second half.
-
He moved his foot right after Pullen took his first step on the drive, after picking up the ball. It shouldn't have been called at all, or else call the blocking foul. It's a [expletive] move to begin with, anyway. Pullen should've made it a legit foul by putting an elbow in his neck, or just dropping a layup on him. V-Tech should be up without Pullen in the game. The 2-3 zone is getting it done, but it's really only because K-State keeps missing open jumpers. And while I type this, that's the third or fourth wide-open jumper they missed. They'll start hitting them if they don't start closing out on the shooters.
-
They are making up for the charge that they probably shouldn't have called on Pullen. It was a coin toss, really. But oh well, screw K-State.
-
Martin is going to blow a fuse.
-
Gasol better not come out as Gasoft this game. I don't care if it's Bogut defending him...it's time for Gasol to be a physical player on BOTH sides of the ball, be aggressive and work the two-man with Bryant.

Houston isn't that much of a disappointment to me. Once I heard that Yao Ming was going to be restricted, that dropped them from a potential playoff team to a struggling 9-10th team in the conference. While Ariza was never going to be a good 1st or 2nd option scorer, he was an excellent defensive player who saw his defensive numbers struggle with every game he had an increased role on offense. If Houston had Martin, Scola and Brooks all scoring the ball more than Ariza (assuming they somehow kept Ariza and still acquired Martin), this team would be a top four team out West even with 24-minute Ming. However, that backcourt defense (or, lack of) is a killer because there's no Yao down low to intimidate slashing guards, and Scola sure the hell won't have that role on the team.

Pullen has two early fouls.

All of you are supposed to root against K-State.
