  1. Wow, talk about terrible shooting. The last time I tuned in, Billups was 3-16.
  2. Kobe Bryant 44 points, 16-28 FG, 3 rebounds, 3 assists Ron Artest 18 points, 6-9 FG, 5 rebounds, 2 assists Pau Gasol 10 points, 4-7 FG, 9 rebounds, 2 assists Andrew Bynum 5 points, 1-3 FG, 8 rebounds, 0 assists Jordan Farmar 5 points, 2-7 FG, 3 rebounds, 5 assists Lamar Odom 4 points, 2-9 FG, 9 rebounds, 4 assists Derek Fisher 2 points, 1-6 FG, 0 rebounds, 0 assists What a mess. And by the way... Zach Randolph 22 points, 9-18 FG, 17 rebounds, 1 assist Rudy Gay 25 points, 10-19 FG, 4 rebounds, 1 assist Marc Gasol 11 points, 2-5 FG, 13 rebounds, 1 assist Garbage. Can't wait to lose to Charlotte.
  3. STUPID. If anyone ever asks why Kobe doesn't pass the ball for game-winning situations, remember this as well as the other few times he's done it. When Kobe gets doubled, it goes to Fisher. Otherwise, Kobe just takes the shot. Marc Gasol would've had that three pegged into his eyeball. So pissed off.
  4. Dude, Pau Gasol has been a huge pansy this entire season. I'm getting sick of it.
  5. Got it back. Looks like Kobe is heating up.
  6. Well, I'm not sure where you live, but being in Kansas, I have to hear a thousand K-State students talking about how bad ass their team is, how they are going to lay into us in Manhattan, and how they are going to win the Big 12 and eventually the National Championship. It's the most annoying thing on this Earth.
  7. Best overall player? Most definitely. Adding MVP's and championships? It's Magic until this June.
  8. NOOOOOO! Digital cable just went out AGAIN. I hate winter.
  9. Man, Boston just looks worn, battered and beaten lately.
  10. I think Chalmers needs to start again. I know that won't be the popular decision, but go with what you had at the beginning of the season. Chalmers is the type of player to get motivated once given that starter role back. I've followed the guy throughout his years at KU, and I'm pretty sure he's a guy to look for things like that. Miami isn't getting jack from their point guards, so why not? If you want to change something from that first lineup though...start Dorell at the three.
  11. Yeah, but that happens everywhere, even in Boston. A lot of that may be Lakers fans, too...but there are other team fans that cheer for Kobe dunks and long scoring runs he has, or 26-foot threes. Kinda stupid, really. I like LeBron, but I wouldn't cheer for him like that if he were playing against the Lakers.
  12. Wow, just pull Fisher already, please. Stick Farmar back in, or Brown, or Sasha...just get Fisher out of there. And while Bynum rebounds well, he's also not doing a damn thing offensively, and his defense sucks. It's usually always just one good thing, a few bad things. We're going to lose if Kobe doesn't catch fire.
  13. Haha yeah, but the Grizz commentators were making it a big deal that he was playing better than Fisher...when really, that's not that big of a deal, lol. Fisher is just terrible.
  14. GET ODOM IN THIS GAME. Man, Kobe isn't hitting anything now. That usually means it's going to be a close game, or a blowout.
  15. Yeah, he never really did anything for Memphis. A lot of people still think he's the one that made the Gasol trade, actually. The Lakers aren't in sync once again, offense or defense. It seems to be like this every game. I wonder if Kobe will need to hit another game-winner here, as usual.
  16. He's getting hit on most of them, but I'll just say that he's been bodied and hit more times by other teams, with no calls (as you saw with Boston, especially with Tony Allen on him). I just can't say he's not getting fouled, though, because a lot of those shots would go in if he wasn't getting touched. Away from that topic...it's too bad Jerry West isn't the GM of the Grizzlies now, or at least in the building, because Kobe's getting the record tonight.
  17. Guess it's just against the Grizzlies then, because in 17 January games, he shot double-digit free throws just twice, and 11 total times in the 48 games they've played all season long.
  18. Yep, against the Knicks. And there was another time, where he passed it to Lamar, and Lamar tossed up a 17-foot airball.
  19. Channing Frye is in. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/allstar2010/news/story?id=4876452
  20. He'll lay off a bit, unless he's needed. He wants to set the record at home.
  21. I still don't get how anyone in the Philly FO didn't know this was a bad signing to begin with. Eddie Jordan was terrible in Washington. People blamed the players, for the most part, but the blame should've went both ways. I'm not even sure why he tries to run the Princeton offense. Does he even know how to coach it? Even then, his rotations absolutely suck, and he definitely has no interest in coaching defensive strategies. Ugly coach, ugly coaching.
  22. It's tough to see free agents wanting to run to Milwaukee. Jennings is no John Wall, so he's not going to be the guy that attracts potential star teammates, such as Amare. Hell, even Evans isn't on that level. And Bogut is no Howard, either. People will want to play alongside teammates they feel they can contend with for 4-5 years or longer (the length of their contract), and it's hard to see anything like that happening in Milwaukee. Why not just make a run at Amare before the deadline? Put anything you can together to pair him up with Jennings, and hope that it propels the Bucks into the playoffs. Then, you can throw a max contract at him and hope he re-signs. If not, so what? That suddenly puts you in the FA market. Win-win, really.
  23. Improbable, but not impossible. The Celtics are hitting a big wall...almost too big to climb over or drive around. If Toronto can keep winning, they may find themselves trailing Boston by about a game or so. I'm not really surprised that Toronto is doing well, though. They've made a few adjustments to their lineups that I like, and I think Jack is playing amazing basketball for them now, and it has changed the way Calderon is playing.
