  1. Haha, I could've posted that for you. I remember all of your complaints.
  2. Arenas and Miller didn't play against the Hawks due to flu-like symptoms? And I read that it was after they had gotten flu shots. Hmm... Foye did well, though, but Washington just attempted too many threes, and had trouble defending Williams (for some reason).
  3. Yeah, you'd be the one to talk. You're now one more post from being in the same boat.
  4. Rose should get it, and Bynum should have a chance if Duncan plays the four, and Jefferson struggles after that knee injury (because, otherwise, it should be Jefferson's to lose).
  5. We had 2,100+ registered members here the day before the hack. People that were on this board will tell you that. We had 120+ active members every day. After the hack, we were down for a week. We lost 600,000+ posts, which is why some of our active members took off, because all of their hard work was deleted. I know exactly where they are posting at now, and I know exactly why they left, and that's not my problem. As far as having 6,000 active members, we aren't going to get there, because I don't want to. I don't spam, and I don't ask my members to spam. I keep this board limited in membership because I don't want to bring in unintelligent basketball discussion from sites that are on the verge of dying. That's why I don't merge with anyone else. That's why I don't recruit hard. I suggest you drop it, because you have absolutely no idea what this site is about, how it's ran, how it was ran, or anything about us or myself. At this point, you're simply a spectator that I will honestly say I don't mind losing if you continue to suggest how I run this board (which is not "helping") or telling other members how they should and should not be posting (as you did with magicballa a couple of times now). You aren't an admin, a mod, on staff, or have any past affiliation with OTR, and you don't have 30,000 posts (pre or post hack), so you're either going to follow suit with the rest of the members and stop dragging threads off-topic with something you won't have any say in, ever, or just find a better basketball forum that will suit your needs by making you an admin and letting you take over the place. Another post about it and you won't post here again.
  6. We had over 2,000. We were hacked. Your time here is coming to an end soon.
  7. When your post is deleted, that means it stays off the forums. Three days.
  8. Griffin looks like he could cause us some problems on the glass. I hope Gasol, Bynum and Odom are ready to crash the boards early.
  9. Now you're seeing the difference between baiting and just calling the Eagles a mediocre team. Baiting ends here, guys, or suspensions will be handed out.
  10. ...with the same exact people that have been arguing with me for five years. You wouldn't know. It's the same people I keep on the forums, despite all of that. It's the same people that argue with everyone else. So I am very tolerant. I do "lighten up" all the time, when necessary. I don't need anyone telling me how to run the board, or even suggesting how to run it. And we aren't having this discussion, especially in this topic.
  11. Well, it would be nice to have a true slasher in that five, though, especially when you have shooters and a facilitating guard. DeRozan would benefit from it greatly.
  12. Orlando was lucky to pull away with a win against the Bulls tonight. If Hinrich would've gotten that three off (instead of Orlando fouling Miller), that game was going into OT.
  13. If I have to warn anyone else about the baiting, you're banned permanently. Put it on anything. I'm [expletive]ing tired of your immaturity and your need to run off our solid posters here at OTR. If you don't believe me and think I'll go easy on you just because you've been here for years (any of you), then please test me, because at this point, there is nothing I want to do more than to eliminate our problems. Either you will discuss our topics in a mature manner and respect other fans, or you will be out. Every single one of you that decide not to comply. I'll replace you in a heartbeat, staff or non-staff members, dedicated members or rookies. Don't even quote this or reply to it. It's a two month suspension if you do (mods, put it into play if it's quoted, or you're suspended). You read it, and you will understand it, or you will leave.
  14. Let's get one of these guys to ten.
  15. Yeah, pretty idiotic. I saw one of their Wife Swap episodes, by the way...the only one I've ever watched, and sure enough, it was them. I don't feel sorry for the kid, either, because from the episode, it seems like he was told to act like a brat, and he did his part. Makes me wonder if he was excited for the balloon story, also. And yeah, the dad is a basket case.
  16. Well, the Skins aren't even an NFL-quality team in my opinion. That was one of the ugliest games I've seen from them in a while (vs. the Chiefs). They need new personnel ASAP, and a decent QB that realizes that there CAN be more than four downs in a possession.
  17. In five years, if he improves his defense, Blake will be the best power forward in the league.
  18. I can try and re-create it, actually. Maybe it can be a secondary skin for us (just not on the team forums).
  19. Should've made it starters only. The logical choice (if you make one in the first place) is to pick someone who gets no burn on the court, and it would have little to no effect on the team.
  20. Yeah, the only thing that concerns me about him though...it's that three. I think it was that outdoor game...he just kept shooting it. He hit them, nonetheless, but there will be games where he'll go cold. Plus, Phoenix needs that inside presence. Amare isn't exactly your ideal back to the basket post. It's the difference between a contender close to a championship, and a borderline contender that's still looking for its identity.
  21. Yeah, it looks like you don't. We're all saying it was lopsided. I'm saying it wasn't THAT bad, and Sky is explaining why the trade was made in the first place, and why any other team could've done it if they had the balls to just take on the contract. I would've guessed this was over with by now, and everyone realized the trade was done for the money and not mostly for the players, but you can bet this would not be an issue had the Lakers lost the Finals once again with Gasol as their second option.
  22. The Pats should've scored 90, just for fun. Someone needs to wake the Titans up. Stick them in the record books, losing end, and get some people traded and fired.
  23. Cassel and the Chiefs made their way down the field, but what a pathetic way to blow every chance for a touchdown. Bowe seems to be a good receiver, shows some promise, but his hands...I don't know. He drops too many easy passes. Looks like JC could be out of the starting QB position next game. We'll see how that goes, though.
