  1. PG - Jason Kidd, Nate Robisnon

    PG/SG - Joe Johnson

    SG - Harden, J.R. Smith

    SG/SF - Gerald Wallace

SF - LeBron James, Ron A.R.T.est

    SF/PF - Stephen Jackson

    PF - S.T.A.T, Griffin

    PF/C - Andre Bargnani

    C - Bynum, Anderson Verajoe

Sorry, but your team is 100% impractical. Total salary would exceed 100 even. Let's keep a cap which is practical. 80 million, 85 at the most. My team is just 77 million.

  2.

Their both good options, so no worries on your personal preference as this is all imaginary. One thing that has not been mentioned in this thread is who are the players supporting these players; that is a big factor as it seems your imagined team is far different than kaustubh's.

    Here's the team I'm thinking.

    PG - Lowry, Rubio

    PG/SG - Beaubois

    SG - Harden, Matthews

    SG/SF - Brewer

    SF - LeBron, Batum

    SF/PF - Moute

    PF - Love, Ibaka

    PF/C - Jason Thompson

    C - Howard, Greg Monroe.

  3. Right now and moving forward, who would you rather have playing at PG - Kyle Lowry or Stephen Curry? Moreover, is Lowry really a capable 3 point shooter, or is this season an aberration? Take defence into consideration as well.

Pay particular heed to who would be better in a team having Harden, LeBron, Love, and Howard.

  4. A similar styled player would be more economical as you can use the veterans on the team to help him develop with your head coaches style; that particular player would only prolong your teams success as he can take over after Dirk, yet bring a new dynamic of youthful innovation to your current team as well.

What if the player is young, like maybe Eric Gordon? Would you rather have a similar style player for continuity, or a different one to give variety?

  5. The team with D12 and Steph in it. You surround Dwight with shooters and that is a winning formula itself and topping that off with LeBron makes this team great.

I was thinking the exact same thing, but then my friend pointed out that the fact that Paul and LeBron were best friends whereas Dwight and LBJ didn't like each other meant that the team having CP3 would have far better chemistry.
