  1. Everything worked better last year, Vince is better than Hedo, but Hedo fit in well for them. However I doubt last year's team would have beaten the Celtics this year, in fact I am almost sure of it. Hedo is marginally better than VC, not enough to make them better than the Celtics.
  2. This should be titled 'can the Rockets woo the Toronto Raptors'.
  3. All these towns going through all this is flattering to LBJ, but pathetic at the same time. He really is the King.
  4. That beat is so damn annoying, I can't even hear what he is saying because I can't listen past the beat.
  5. http://rapradar.com/2010/05/27/eminem-recovery-tracklist/ Eminem is going Jay-Z on us.
  6. Excited, hope the Suns can continue to play as well as they do at home, on the road, doubtful though.
  7. Jose Calderon looked sick off the bench too back in the day.
  8. This song is horrible, Drake sounds like a retard on it. Hook is annoying, there is nothing good about it.
  9. Him option out is just a formality, he is just signing a bigger extension now by option out. He will be a Maverick for life. Only place I see Dirk possibly going is New York if there is a chance at a title there as well as max money, which is doubtful on both accounts.
  10. Because Bynum is the 2nd or 3rd best Center in the East if he is healthy, and is a solid compliment to Bargnani compared to Bosh. He is obviously an inferior player, but compared to losing Bosh for nothing, this is awesome.
  11. I don't like Kobe very much but I have to give him serious respect for these playoffs, I hope he takes the summer off and comes back 100% healthy next year, it will be interesting to see how dominant he can be at age 32 or whatever he will be, if he is fully healthy.
  12. http://fostercityblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/bait.jpg Let's go Suns.
  13. I would be interested to see how Bosh plays primarily off the ball, typically he gets it 15 feet away from the basket, holds it for 5-8 seconds, jab steps a couple times, then drives to the hole or pulls up or steps back. I have no doubt he could be an amazing player for the Lakers if he accepts the role of getting his buckets off of Kobe creating but I don't know how he would react to less isolation plays. I think Kobe would have to give up some shots to appease Bosh and Pau, if they add Bosh, Kobe cannot be taking over 20 shots anymore. Adding Bosh gives them a primary offensive option they can use when Kobe is on the bench, let him rest some more for once, Bosh can dominate a game (offensively of course) on his own for stretches while Kobe is on the bench. Adding Bosh gives them someone who can carry the load offensively during the stretches when Kobe can't. If Bosh can set his ego aside and not worry about his stats, the Lakers will win multiple titles with him there, it doesn't even matter that he is 2 inches and 30 pounds lighter than Bynum. I just hope for the Raptors' sake, Bynum can get relatively healthy, because I think he will thrive in a role where the Raptors are his team, or where he is getting 15 shots a night at least. I hope this deal happens so Bosh can win a couple NBA titles, even if it means I have to cheer for the Lakers.
  14. Ya... it is annoying all the storylines they began then just left off with no explanation.
  15. If we take that Euro I am going to be seriously very mad, and why the hell is Amir being let go? He was one of our best players last year. It is like we are trying to get rid of all our hustle guys each year.
  16. Edmonton has a good thing going right now despite their horrible last few seasons, they are slowly but surely stockpiling youth and will be a good team again in a few years.
  17. The NHL needs to go to ESPN but they need to find a way to market the players and their teams. Ovechkin/Crosby and those guys are the best and most exciting players in the league, but the problem, as opposed to the NBA, is that he is only on the ice 1/3 of the game as opposed to Kobe/LeBron/other stars who are on for like 90% of the game in the NBA. They need to find a way to appeal to the ESPN audience, show the big hits, the fights, the awesome saves and then show the excitement of guys who aren't just first liners, and what they bring to the game, the hits and [expletive] like that. People don't know what to enjoy about hockey besides the goals, casual fans don't realize a 1-0 or 2-1 game can be more exciting than a game that is 7-6. The NHL is an awesome league where every team actually has a chance, as opposed to a star dominated sport of the NBA where the same teams have an actual championship shot year in year out, it just sucks that the NHL is hardly recognized as a national sport, when it is actually pretty awesome, new teams dominate each year and every team has a crack at the title once the playoffs start.
  18. The NHL playoffs are way more marketable and exciting than the NBA playoffs, it is a shame no one even knows how awesome the playoffs have been this year because no one can even see the games.
  19. I am anxious to see Pronger try and keep up with Kane and Toews on the rush.
  20. The only thing better I could see us even coming close to getting is whoever the Nets pick 3rd, and that is only if LBJ is going to the Nets first, and even then I could just be dreaming.
  21. Biedrins probably isn't going that cheap in a trade, he is a really good player when he is healthy, and he is still young as well.
  22. I would have to start cheering for the Lakers if this happened Anyways I hope this goes down, it is the best case scenario for both teams, I am almost 100% certain this deal will occur if the Lakers do not win the championship. Also BFT made a good point the other day, that while this is Kobe's team now and probably for another year or two, two years from now the Lakers will still have a 27 or 28 year old Bosh who they can primarily run the offense through, can they count on Bynum to be that guy? This deal would keep their championship window open wider and longer, and Bosh would be able to become the primary offensive option within a couple years on the NBA's biggest team, which would definitely sooth his ego after a couple years of a secondary role. Their lane intimidation and overall defense would probably suffer with this trade, but no team could touch them on the offensive end of the floor, Bosh would fit into the offense perfectly.
