Wow we are sucking bad in the second half, what happened to our 9 point lead at the half...? Now it's a one point game.

Will the Knicks FINALLY have an all-star?
JWaLL replied to The Next Knick's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I'd be shocked if any Knick was even a runner-up all star this season. I'm sure your team will be picking at the upcoming free agency class so within the next few years I could see a Knick being represented. -
Mike Miller has not been given a high enough role to be considered team MVP at all, and I don't see his role changing because he shares so many minutes with the backups. He has the "potential" to be considered one, but right now, definitely not. Jamison is the clear cut MVP at the moment.

Can the Thunder keep up the good play?

I don't think he did either lol... -
Can the Thunder keep up the good play?
JWaLL replied to Warren2ThaG's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
I'm loving the play by the Thunder this season, despite them murdering us in our first match-up of the season. A team with so much potential doing this well already is impressive. I could see them snagging the 8th or even the 7th seed at least this season. -
+1 for proving my point. Antawn has played enough to be considered the most valuable player on the Wizards roster this season.
-
Very weak finish by Atlanta... Orlando shouldn't have been able to come back that easily.
-
He is the most valuable to the team... he is the leader on the floor and is clearly playing the best basketball on the team. We would be a worse team without Antawn than we would without Gilbert. Plus the season just started and I don't see Antawn missing anymore time, so while he has not played as many games as Gilbert, it's not like the difference in games played right now is that drastic with the season not being that progressed yet.
-
Antawn Jamison is the MVP Wizards, regardless of only playing a few games. They play better ball with him in the lineup it seems, and he is the leader. Gilbert, regardless of how much he is scoring, is playing beyond inefficiently. That is why I chose Antawn over Gilbert, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that.

Wow...

Will any Wizard be an All Star this season?
JWaLL replied to JWaLL's topic in Washington Wizards Team Forum
I hope he fixes his game up. He is back into the habit of rushing into difficult shots on offensive possessions. We have enough weapons on our team to not rely on him scoring a lot. Jamison is definitely deserving though. He is just playing like an All Star despite our disappointing performance so far this season. -
Interesting to think about, and I couldn't agree more with the video above.

Despite the team struggling for wins, do you feel that any Wizard deserves a spot on the All Star team this year? Jamison is averaging 25 ppg and 10.8 rpg, and while Gilbert is somewhat struggling percentage wise, he is still putting up decent numbers with 22.1 ppg and 6.4 apg. I don't think Butler will snag a spot just because of the other elite small forwards in the Eastern Conference. Right now I would say Jamison is easily the most deserving of a spot on the roster, but I don't think Gilbert is playing efficiently enough to get a spot despite his scoring numbers.
-
Well, you have Dirk, Garnett, Bosh, and Duncan as the obvious top 4 right now. I guess Amare could compete for the 5th spot right now with Gasol. I would most likely take him over Josh Smith, David West, David Lee, and Antawn Jamison, who in my opinion are the next best power forwards in the league.
-
Applying for the D.C one, though I doubt I'll get it with the recent shenanigans that happened.
-
Oh [expletive] Jermaine at the end...
-
Great finish, who would have thought Jason Williams wouldn't come up in the clutch after the amazing performance he was putting on? That Beasley dunk was just nasty.
-
I have much more to say, but apparently having an opinion gets you banned here so I'll leave the topic so I can continue to post here freely. Enjoy your power train that allows you to "win" every argument.
-
I'm not trying to look like anything, this started with me calling out Brandon for continually bad mouthing my team and its players, which he claims he does not approve of when it happens to his team. Explain to me why I am wrong and I will drop it, honestly. The only problem here is him, the debate somehow stretched out to Diesel and other banned members, but that isn't the point of my argument.
-
You would really ban me for this? Have I "personally attacked" anyone? Posted inappropriate pictures? Explain this to me, I am still confused. Is it that you do not like being proven wrong? You can't win debates by eliminating the opponent lol...
-
Lol dude I joined the old OTR in 2006, I wasn't an active poster but I was still around for a while and read through topics so don't act like I haven't been around long enough. And I have been talking to members, including Diesel himself, who have all been filling me in on this. I'm not talking out of my [expletive] here, I know enough to show that you are guilty of being hypocritical at times on the forum. Oh and there is no need to talk to me like I am an incompetent brick wall or something. I see what you are saying, and I'm retaliating to the parts that are arguable, which is just about everything.
-
I'm not being disruptive, I'm getting answers. Yes it is inappropriate to use member's pictures, but if I recall, you also retaliated by photoshopping a picture of Diesel and posting it. I don't need monitoring. In general I am definitely a non troublesome poster here. I defend my team, but I only find myself "arguing" when it involves you because your comments about the Wizards are unnecessarily negative. Is that ban-worthy? No. Instead of threatening to ban me, admit that your comments can be categorized with the comments made by previously banned members.
-
This was a great game, too bad the Sixers came up short! Good win Wizards! That better? No need to ban me for literally nothing. Show me which rules I am breaking.
