I have never wore a robe in my life, am I missing out?

@Cobb, this stadium is packed what's the occasion? There have been ALOT of empty seats in the Hawks games that I've watched this season. Is it simply because they're playing the Bulls?

Time for Derrick Rose to make a mockery of Kirk Heinrich......again.

Kobe takes a shot at Smush?
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in Los Angeles Lakers Team Forum
The only good he ever did in a Laker uni was the steal in game 4 against the Suns in 2006, outside of that I have no respect for the guy. And it's not like Kobe is lying anyway, Smush was a borderline d league player at best. -

11 straight points for Boston to take the lead. Paul Pierce is killing Fields.
-
Bulls with a healthy starting five making a mockery of the Queens. You're [expletive]ed if Keith Bogans shots as well as he did today.

Oh oh....

Huh I don't get it. I always thought that the 12th man reference was the nickname of the fans at Qwest Field. So the cover would just be a picture of the stadium.

I don't think you've ever played basketball in your life.

I wont be one of those guys. I've stuck with this team through the rough, pretty much 2004-2007. Now alot of you guys wont consider making the playoffs a couple seasons a "rough stretch" but to Laker fans we were accustomed to winning championships or advancing deep in the playoffs. Those first rounds exists stung just as bad as not making the playoffs in 2004-05. Generally speaking though I would probably say that well over half the fanbase are bandwagoners or Kobe fans first so I wouldn't be surprised to see people lose interest in the team once they become irrelevant. As for being a fan, I've been a Kobe fan since his rookie season and he'll continue to be my favorite player as long as he plays and even after he retires. It's really similar to the respect and love people have for Jordan. Alot of hardcore fans don't have favorite players outside of guys on their respective teams, but I'm not like that.

Some of the candidates suck. Carlos Dunlap lmao.

Nice win, Kobe and Fish were clutch at the end. Second team to reach 50 wins!

Screw all these overrated #3 seeds....

Pietrus was actually Orlando's best perimeter defender last season, so I'm not sure how you could call him a weak link. Nash doesn't play defense, Carter isn't motivated enough and even when he is he's average, and Gortat is decent. I'll give you Dudley though, and even Grant Hill (for his age). The team as a whole though isn't good defensively, and it's hard to be good when you best player gets torched every night.

I feel bad for Robbie Hummell.

Lopez cant jump and he has a really skinny ass frame, that's why he fails to haul in rebounds. Rebounding has never really been his forte though, even when he played for Stanford. You cant simply rely on height in the NBA. Offensively he's garbage, the only time he scores is when he's spoonfed by Nash. The Suns have always been high on his defense though, and I think that's partly the reason why the organization hasn't given up on him yet. He's one of the few guys who actually plays defense for the Suns.

The Purdue-VCU game doesn't even have a tournament feel to it, it's like a scrimmage out there.
-
No foul on the putback? That's terrible.
-
Derrick Williams has failed to make the big plays when Arizona most needed them this half. Excellent interior defense from Texas. Edit: And as I post that Derrick Williams gets the and 1.
-
Jcovan Brown in carrying Texas down the stretch. They can afford exchanging baskets anymore though.
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvyelLWnDMo&feature=player_embedded Too bad he got called for a charge though.
-
Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers for Texas. Every time they make some sort of run they manange to turn the ball over and kill their momentum.
-
Dwight is going to continue to win this award for the next 3-4 seasons because there simply isn't a player in the league that makes a bigger impact on the defensive end. His shot blocking and presence in the paint forces teams to adjust the way they attack Orlando's defense, the same cant be said by any other player in the league.

Michigan could not have got a better look at the basket. You have to hit that. Oh well, Texas will beat Duke in the next round.
