I thought the fat guy was the bully at first. Props to the skinny guy for standing up to a dude 3 times his weight, he'll think twice next time though.

I liked it for the most part. Probably one of my favorites 30/30 documentaries along with Once Brothers. A few things on this documentary: 1) The director sure did his hardest to shed light on the whole Chris Webber controversy without portraying him as the bad guy. I thought all the interviews in defense of Webber were kind of overdone. The man made a mistake, didn't accept it, and instead used someone else as a scapegoat. That was pretty [expletive]ed up of C Webb. 2) I didn't think the team collectively was all that spectacular. Granted that it was a team of five freshmen, and they made it to the national championship twice, I still thought that C Webb was the dominant force on the team and the other four guys were primarily role players. I don't agree with the 'Fab Five' nickname. 3) Is Jalen Rose still friends with Chris Webber?

This is what I had to say about Utah State in another thread just in case you didn't see it. I really like St. Johns in the tournament this year. I'll probably be rooting for them and San Diego State. I wasn't aware that DJ Kennedy was out, but I still think that St. Johns uptempo style is going to give Gonzaga troubles. Dwight Hardy is just amazing, and he doesn't get nearly the coverage that guys like Kemba, Barnes, or Jimmer get, yet he is just as capable of dominating games offensively. I feel like St. John's is talented enough to make it to the Sweet 16.

Perkins calls Pau soft, Phil Jackson arrogant
The Regime replied to AboveLegit's topic in Oklahoma City Thunder Team Forum
He's soft, there is no denying it. But at the end of the day he's a two time champ and that's all that matters. -
They're really overrated if you ask me. People are choosing them as their dark horse pick but the fact of the matter is that they aren't as good as their record indicates. For starters the WAC is just terrible, I would know because I watched UNR play atleast 4-5 games this season. Utah State has one notable win on the season and that was against Saint Mary's. I'm not impressed. The Aggies really aren't battle tested, and haven't played a team the caliber of K State. Pullen and K State are starting to play some of the best of basketball of the season at the right time, so I personally wouldn't pick them in the upset.

Your Final Four/National Champion?
The Regime replied to ChosenOne's topic in General NCAA Discussion
Ohio State, San Diego State, Kansas, Pitt I'm picking the upset in the West. Nolan Smith will probably get his, but Duke often shoots themselves out of games with their inconsistent three point shooting. San Diego State is athletic, well coached, and does a good job on the glass. I just love them for some reason. Outside of that, the other 3 #1 seeds will make it to the Final Four. -
It looked really serious at first, and I honestly thought that it would sideline him for the rest of the season. But Kobe is a tough guy and he was able to play on it so I'm pretty confident he'll be back in a couple games.

Why are you resorting to personal attacks? I stated a fact, David Stern won by shutting SVG up. How you know my stance just based on three words, that's beyond me.

Bulls were absolutely lethal from downtown today, especially in the first half, they shot something like 65% from distance. Korver, Watson, and even Rose just couldn't miss. With that said the last 4 games, Rose is averaging 8 three pointers a game. That's too much. He needs to play to his strengths and that's attacking the basket, heck he's better off pump faking and getting to that 15-18 foot area.

Simple question. Discuss.

Yup, we should have traded Bynum.

I think atleast half of Barnes points came off open looks. Still props to him for knocking down those shots, he has a really smooth effortless stroke. What I admire about him most is that fact he isn't scared to take big shots, he always comes up huge in critical junctures.

Btw Chicago has the 2nd easiest schedule moving forward.

What happened to Kirk, I thought he was the best defensive pg in the league? He held Rose to a tough shooting night, but Rose got the line and converted on his opportunities. Rose almost single handed outscored the entire Hawks in the second half lol (Rose-26, Hawks-24). Butler got 2 minutes of playing time only because the game was already out of reach, and because Boozer was inactive for today. That's the kind of minutes he's looking at, there's simply no reason for the Bulls to mess around with their rotations. The fact that Noah and Bogans scored a combined 0 points, and the Bulls still won in a blowout, that just amazes me. Thib's is a defensive genius.

Sweet, Bulls are only half a game out of first place now. Nened and Jeff Green both look pretty comfortable, but the Celts are dropping games to shitty teams at a critical time. Boston better get healthy quick if they want to hold on to that #1 seed.

Pippen: Jordan would average 40 ppg in today's game
The Regime replied to a topic in Chicago Bulls Team Forum
Jordan today would have a tough time dropping 10-15 points a game, let alone 40 ppg or 100 points in a game. He's is pick up game shape, not NBA shape anymore. -
(19) Connecticut vs. (11) Syracuse
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in General NCAA Discussion
FT shooting really hurt Cuse at the end. What a ridiculous stat line from Kemba Walker: 33 pts, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals -
(19) Connecticut vs. (11) Syracuse
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in General NCAA Discussion
What a crazy ass game. UConn was up 6 a few seconds ago, a couple Jardine 3's along with missed ft's from UConn and this game is all tied up. I don't understand why Calhoun didn't tell his team to foul, questionable coaching. OT.
