Officiating has been really loose, both teams are getting away with alot of contact.
-
Lakers second unit outplaying Denvers second unit. I am surprised. Edit: Luke Walton posting, and successfully hitting a turn around jumpshot over Afflalo; I must be dreaming.
-
^He needs to keep posting and stay away from that three point line as much as possible.

And we're struggling getting back on defense...

Felton started off the year playing like an all-star but has really struggled as of late. Here's just a quick look at his shooting percentages by month: October 19-42 fgm-fga (.452%), 4-12 3pm-3pa (.333%), 6-8 ftm-fta (.750%) November 104-219 fgm-fga (.475%), 29-79 3pm-3pa (.367%), 61-66 ftm-fta (.924%) December 87-210 fgm-fga (.414%), 24-72 3pm-3pa (.333%), 33-40 ftm-fta (.825%) First three months 210-471 fgm-fga (.446%), 57-163 3pm-3pa (.350%), 100-114 ftm-fta (.878%) January (including tonights game vs. San Antonio) 58-158 fgm-fga (.367%), 18-50 3pm-3pa (.360%), 33-39 ftm-fta (.846%) He has shot a combined 24-78 (.307%) in the last 5 games, and in that span the Knicks have gone 0-5. So is it time for the Knicks to deal?

Raymond Felton has been playing terrible this month.
-
The Jazz are a mess. A loss to the Nets and Wizards on the road, and tonight they are getting manhandled by Boston.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Mike went back to their smaller lineup with Amare playing at the five and Chandler at the 4. Turiaf has given some good minutes, but their offense just doesn't have a flow. The Knicks best bet is probably to outscore them at the expense of their defense.
-
Atlanta will probably want to put this shooting performance behind them.
-
Blair has had some active hands tonight, I can't remember watching a game where a guy has so many deflections or strips.
-
Dejuan Blair is having his way in the paint. Knicks need to be more pinpoint with their passing.
-
I like what Gallinari is doing thus far. He's knocking down open shots, moving well without the ball, and taking the ball to the rack strong. With Amare in early foul trouble, they are going to need him to stay aggressive.
-
Knicks already dealt the Spurs a loss this season, a game in which Pop benched the Big 3 in the fourth quarter. I'm predicting another close game, Knicks need this game bad.

Warriors Looking To Make 'Superstar' Trade
The Regime replied to The Regime's topic in Golden State Warriors Team Forum
Didn't Lacob say that Monta was untouchable? -
Same with me. Whatever though, I think it's pretty tight that all the veteran members are getting their post counts back.

This is from a blogger on yahoo. Found it pretty interesting. What do you guys think? http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/The-NBA-s-midseason-awards?urn=nba-309657

What does your team need to improve upon?
The Regime replied to Pooh25's topic in General NBA Discussion
Brandon pretty much hit it right on the head. Defensively we have to do a better job defending the three point line and playing better pick and roll defense. The effort just isn't their for the full 48 minutes and we play defense in stretches and that isn't going to cut it. It's the simple things that this team needs to do like running out and contesting shots and getting back in transition. Pau especially needs to stop playing like a one dimensional player. Bench play has been mediocre this whole season. Odom is the only guy who can produce on a game to game basis. Shannon Brown is way too inconsistent, he either does an excellent job scoring or struggles and makes bonehead plays. Steve Blake isn't the player that Laker fans were expecting and we need Matt Barnes back badly, Luke Walton sucks in every phase of the game. Fisher and Artest get way to many open looks to not be effective. Kobe has done an excellent job facilitating this season, but neither of those guys have been productive. I have zero confidence in Artest to turn it around offensively, but it would be nice to get him to play defense like he did last season. As for Fish he's going to get torched every night, but he has got to make himself valuable by hitting open shots. -
I'm sick of Walton getting playing time period, he isn't useful in any phase of the game. Phil needs to give Ebanks more playing time.
-
Our big men (Andrew, Pau, Lamar) should have a field day against Denver. Hopefully we do a better job defending the three point line, or else we could be in for another "Dallas" type game.

Peja to Mavs, trade Ajinca to Raps
The Regime replied to AboveLegit's topic in Dallas Mavericks Team Forum
Short term fix for the Mavs, but this still isn't the solution to replace Caron Butler. With the current squad Mavs are no better than 4th in the West. -
LA Clippers at Portland
The Regime replied to Real Deal's topic in Portland Trail Blazers Team Forum
Blake Griffin got absolutely murdered by Aldridge down the stretch. Two game swing in the standings, just when the Clips were making a push for the playoffs. -

Foye is terrible, he hasn't done anything productive this entire quarter.
