  1. Damn Legacy killed this one. The references to Dwight were just sick. I also felt that Legacy had more consistency throughout his rap, Swish had a nice conclusion but the intro wasnt really sharp imo. Legacy-3 Swish-1
  2. TO does not have top end speed any more.
  3. I'm confident we will pull this one out, we've been called out and now it's time to respond.
  4. The last I checked Al Davis loved guys with elite speed, and TO no longer fits that category.
  5. This one isn't even debatable imo, it's Magic Johnson.
  6. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, he was the definition of consistency. He's most famously known for his sky hook, which to date is still one of the toughest shots to defend. He holds a record 6 MVP's and still hold the career scoring mark at 38,387 points. And check this out.....Kareem remains the only modern era player to lead the league at least once in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, minutes played, field-goal percentage and PER. That's ridiculous.
  7. Tim Duncan, as everyone else said he is one of the best fundamental players in history. He brought stability at forward for the Spurs, and still continues to play strong at 33. His quiet and unassuming ways were deceptive and effective. And the list of awards for this guy go on and on.... 4× NBA Champion(1999, 2003, 2005, 2007) 3× NBA Finals MVP(1999, 2003, 2005) 2× NBA Most Valuable Player(2002-2003) NBA Rookie of the Year(1998) 12× NBA All-Star(1998, 2000–2010) 9× All-NBA First Team(1998-2005, 2007) 3× All-NBA Second Team(2006, 2008-2009) 8× All-Defensive First Team(1999-2003, 2005, 2007–2008) 4× All-Defensive Second Team(1998, 2004, 2006, 2009) NBA All-Rookie First Team(1998) NBA All-Star Game MVP(2000) No other power forward in history can match that resume.
  8. Same for me. He was a warrior. Two time Defensive Player of the Year ('90,'91) and seven time All-Defensive First Team ('89,'90, '91, '92, '93, '95, '96). His achievements speak for themselves.
  9. Damn it, you got my hopes up. I was hoping this was true.
  10. I stopped listening to Barkley a long time ago.
  11. Click Here LMAO! Take a look at the second baseman.
  12. Rockets are 32-31, 10 of their losses have come by 5 points or less. I'm thinking atleast a 8 game swing at minimum.
  13. A whole lot of G-Unit, when they used to be good lol.
  14. There a couple things that worry me about the Mavs. First, it's their uptempo offense vs. our poor transition defense. The Mavs love to push the ball, and lot of that is credit to Kidd who is willing to pass up the ball up go guys already running the break. He's really unselfish, and that really plays to our weakness because we have a tough time getting back on defense. Shawn Marion loves to run the break so we need to do a good job containing him and making sure he doesnt run past our backcourt. Secondly, we have got to do a better job accounting for Jason Terry. Terry has just gone off on us in our meetings this season. We need to chase him off the three point line, and force him to either settle for a jumpshot off the dribble or pass the ball up. Beaubois has also emerged as a scorer so we'll need to keep track of him as well. It's hard to say how the minutes will be split between Beaubois and Terry but I'm hoping Terry's minutes are somewhat cut down, although I highly doubt that happens. Dirk and Caron will get theres, but the bench players for the Mavs can not outscore our bench players.
  15. The Hawks at 13 really surprises me, they should be moved above the Bucks imo. Sure they lost to the Knicks three times this season, but they have some quality wins this season and they're still the fourth best squad in the East by record. As for the Lakers 4th is a good spot for the time being.
  16. We are are 34-1 when we finish games with at least 20 assists this season. Against Toronto, we finished with one assist shy of 20 with 19, punctuated by the unassisted Kobe game-winner. Just wanted to point it out.
  17. Westbrook is a better scorer, outside of that Rondo is better in everything else.
  18. I didnt watch the game last night so my earlier statement may not be entirely correct, I just based my statement off the boxscore. I'm just frustrated. You would know where I'm coming from if you watched half the Laker games I have this season. I took this shot at everyone because that's how this season has been. It was time for me to vent my anger. We won but I wasnt satisfied. Kobe is hurting yet he comes out every night and busts his [expletive] off, granted there are a few times that I see some lazy play from him. Artest as expected has been a defensive enforcer and expecially recently has really dedicated shutting down any guy he plays. You see these two guys doing their share but the rest of them team doesnt even give a rats [expletive]. I dont know wtf is wrong with Pau, he seems to be back to his soft days (aka 2007-08). He gets phsically raped by every opposing big man. Bynum actually tries to play defense every now and then but he no discipline and picks up stupid fouls. You would think that having two seven footers would have a huge impact for our defense, but no, we're depending on Kobe to bail us out every night. These games shouldnt even be close, no disrespect to the Raptors but we have far more talent. I miss our huge margin of victories from last season, and that's probabaly why I get so irritated by the smallest of things. And let's not even forget about Fish, he's the catalyst of our struggling defense. He's constantly getting beat of screens, he doesnt even try to fight through them most of the time. Heck, even if their isnt a screen Fish is blown by and alot of the time and guards penetrate to the hole and score with ease, and that's because Pau or Bynum are late getting over. There are just a whole bunch of mistakes you cant point out with these three, and that's why I made this statement.
  19. My bad I mix up Mavin Williams' and Josh Smith's positions everytime, Marvin seems like more of a four. Either way you can throw up a guy like Josh Howard into the mix, and he takes in the upwards of $10 million a year. And yes Slaven thats my top 10. Ron Artest is the best defensive player in the league, and if he wanted he could avg 20ppg like he did in Indiana and Sacramento. Josh Smith is having a all-star season his numbers dont completely indicate the impact that he makes defensively on a nightly basis. I guess if you wanted you could swap Josh Smith and Iguodala I can see how you can make a case for him being the better player. They are pretty close imo. Either way the point I was trying to make was that the salaries for those two guys is well over $10 million a season and Rudy Gay is almost the same caliber player.
  20. Also to add to what Brandon said, Kobe's footwork is miles better than Jordans ever was. And defensively Kobe is the better shotblocker but that's about it. The separation between Kobe and and Jordan is real slim, Kobe needs a couple more championships to cement his legacy.
  21. 1. Lakers 2. Mavericks 3. Nuggets 4. Jazz 5. Thunder 6. Suns 7. Blazers 8. Spurs
  22. Damn, I was hoping he would sign with the Ravens.
  23. This guys has no right to talk, I could honestly care less about anything he says. Let's see if the Magic keep him next year or if Barnes continues his trend of finding new teams.
  24. Derozon and Hedo the only Toronto starters who didnt rip us apart, I wonder who was guarding them? It's a shame no one outside Ron and Kobe can play defense on this squad.
