All I can say is that I got to know a lot about some of these so called Laker fans.

This. No way in hell we package both those guys for Dwight. Arenas is just about as good as Derek Fisher.

First off middle finger to all the guys who doubted Andrew Bynum, he was hands down the second best player on this team this postseason. There were probably one or two guys on this site, not including me, that supported him with all the trade talks surrounding him. As for Pau, ship his ass out. I don't give a shit if he has helped us win two consecutive titles, the fact of the matter is that Kobe isn't going to get any younger and Pau isn't the star that everyone makes him out to be. Right now we need to get a good number two option who can take the pressure off Kobe, and not fold under pressure. With the way he played this season, I wouldn't even hesitate to to pull the trigger on a Pau for Iggy type deal, no joke. The team also needs to upgrade at pg, and give Fish the option to either come off the bench or leave. He is one of the worst if not the worst starting pg's in the league. Also Ron Artest isn't the same impact player on defense as last season and he cant shot to save his life; his contract his brutal but add a couple picks and get a defensive minded, athletic guy who can score when needed (Batum, Iggy, ect). I'm expecting big changes, and a completely restructuring of the starting lineup.

Disappointed and disgusted. That's all I'm going to say.

Still going to UNR, but I want to go out East or in So-Cal for grad school. The fees are just ridiculous though.

I have one final left on Monday, then I'll be free from school for a couple months. I'm still contemplating on whether or not I want to take summer school. Damn....good luck Brandon.

^I've read conflicting reports that say Lamar is going to start. It's going to be a game time decision at this point, I wouldn't invest much into all these updates.

Keep a guy on Dirks hip, he of all players should not be getting any open shots.

Also I think it's safe to say that Drew is the second best player on the team, atleast that is how it has been since the all star break.

Get Ron off Dirk already. He can try to be as physical as he wants against Dirk, but once Dirk has position it's over. There isn't anyone in the league let alone the league who can defend him one on one, but Odom is our best bet.

I dont understand why we aren't switiching on screens. We've been ate up about 90% of the time leading to a open shot or an easy penetration to the hole. Kobe looking sharp again, Pau needs to show up.

Pau's playing aggressive and we're doing a much better job closing out on shooters. We can live with Stevenson hitting shots.

Working full time sucks. I miss being a kid and not having responsibilities.

Our play in the postseason has been pretty discouraging, but I'm confident that the Lakers will bounce back. Pau needs to have himself a big game.

I didn't get to watch the game live because I was working, but I just finished watching it on DVR and a few things... This was easily Kobe's best postseason performance thus far. He was phenomenal outside the last three minutes of the game (took a couple contested three's and had a costly turnover). We wont lose another game this series if he plays at that level. Also Kobe couldn't have had a better look at the basket on that final shot, it just didn't fall. Defensively we weren't disciplined in the first half, Peja and Terry had too many open looks. We were good for the most part in the half court, but the Mavs killed us when they leaked out in transition. We need to double Dirk more when Stevenson and Brewer are in, we can live with them shooting jumpshot as opposed to playing Dirk one on one. I'm not surprised we blew that huge lead in the third quarter, that's our style. Not sure who gave Ron Artest the green light to shoot away and create shots off the dribble. We played way too much iso ball which ultimately allowed the Mavs to dig themselves out of that double digit hole. Should we have gone to the post more? Yes. But every time we did our bigs turned it over or forced up some garbage. I'm pretty confident going into Game 2, I can't see the Lakers falling back 2 games.
