The question is flawed imo. There are many sub-genre's within a genre so you aren't exactly listening to "the same ish over and over again". Take hip-hop for instance, There are multiple sub-genre's that are very different from each other. Some examples include: alternative hip-hop(Blu, MF DOOM, etc.), old school hip-hop (KRS, Kool G Rap, etc.), crunk (Soulja Boy, Lil Jon, etc.), trap (Jeezy, TI, Bun B, etc.), chopped and screwed (DJ Screw, etc.) hyphy (Keak Da Sneak, E40, etc.), mainstream (Jay-Z, Eminem, 50, etc.), jazz hip-hop (ATCQ, De La Soul, etc.), underground (Tech N9ne [maybe not so much any more lol], Apathy, Reks, etc.). The point is you can easily listen to only one genre and still not get "bored".

I use reminders pretty frequently but I agree the update is not as great as it was hyped up to be. The photo editing in the camera app is decent but I'll personally never use it. iCloud is ehhh. I had mobileme before so for me iCloud is actually a step down (even though I still have mobileme until June 2012). iMessage is pretty sweet. I have a ton of friends with iPhones so iMessage is very useful. I'll never use Newsstand or Cards or Find my Friends. Still, for a free update not that bad. But at the same time it's not what it's hyped up to be.
