  1. Still we don't know if things will change in Boston and it's not like we haven't heard rumors before that turned out to be false. I think if he goes to Boston he will stay.
  2. I wanted to have him in NY if he came, still good to have Bobby V back, guess I'll be rooting for the Red Sox more now....
  3. Not the way for division leader to act in his own division...just sayin...
  4. Exactly the type of comments I'm talking about, just trying to keep a mature community here and this man is calling us 'cute' and saying we are bitching and moaning. Grow up bro.

  6. Felt it was directed to us, whatever, just the vibe I got reading it...
  7. 42-24, if we pick up a solid FA guy like Dalembert... 38-28 if we don't..
  8. Smh just ignoring my argument then claiming I'm 'harping' on something while you accuse me of doing something that I've already admitted to doing. Yes I 'cherry picked' the stats lol hate when people say that but I'm not arguing for the recent Knicks, I'm arguing for the historical Knicks, who aren't mediocre, despite what the stats say. BTW you are coming off as mad I'm trying to debate my opinion as calmly as possible but your posts are bordering upon anger, don't see why you can't make your point in a nice friendly manner. Sort of why I try to avoid posting in the NBA section because if you or Nitro disagree with MY OPINION I get slammed for it.
  9. This reminds me of Eagles Boys a few weeks ago, just 1 team dominating the other at the line on both sides, Saints showed up, Giants didn't, score does show just how good or bad either of these teams are. Oh well first place Dallas @ Arizona on 10 days rest Giants home vs Packers - Giants short week, Packers 10 day rest We could theoretically wrap up this division week 14 in Dallas...
  10. :o oh it was the rookie safety, don't know why I thought it was Jenkins, and actually watching the replay he clearly went helmet to helmet I take back everything I said lol I was looking at what part Quddos sp? led with it was his arms but after his arms make contact his crown of the helmet smacks with Nicks, not really dirty, but probably a penalty... Games over anyway, just want to make my point that I don't like how these unnecessary roughness calls are going to be called, especially since unnecessary roughness is 15 yards auto first, huge play.
  11. To me as good as Dally is on defense, Joel is a bit better. Yes Dally may be a better rebounder and scorer, but do the heat need rebounding and scoring? They have Bosh Wade and LeBron...that's more rebounding and scoring than most teams have in their lineups. I think the Heat could be better off getting another center for the veteran minimum and adding a legitimate PG or another piece. Either I really don't think anything the Heat add can really improve their team, they are so good already and a lot of what they do is gonna depend on what Wade and LeBron do. Just don't see him as a large upgrade to the team, in terms of a player yes he is miles ahead of Anthony.
  12. It was interesting to see the personal foul effectively put the Giants back in the game. Seemed like a good clean football hit by Malcolm Jenkins to separate the receiver from the ball. I don't think it should have been called a foul. Jenkins had no malicious intent to lead with his helmet and should and just lay Nicks out, it looked to me like he was going for the ball. I think it's going to be interesting when one of those calls does end up playing a part in a huge game. I know I'd be upset if my safety got called for that hit...
  13. Huge flaw in your argument though, when people talking Knicks they talk Knicks history, not what they have done over the past 10 years. Fair or not it is what they talk about. I don't believe you ever heard anyone saying in the 2000's that the Knicks were good, or anyone showing any respect to those 2000's team. Everyone knows they've sucked over the past 10 years, but aside from that they have a great history. When you think Knicks you don't think Marbury, Crawford and Steve Francis, you think Ewing, Starks, Oakley, you think Frazier, Reed, DeBusschere. I def don't think that is mediocre by any stretch. I think it's just unfortuante the Knicks were going up against Bird and Magic, than Michael, and Walt and that Lakers team team in the 70's. Seems like the Knicks have always been 4th or 5th best, but they've always been there.
  14. Fallout: New Vegas and Portal 2 are classics, Portal 2 my pick for GOTY this year...
  15. Well excuse us mr. I saw it coming the whole time <_< and agreed batistas sister is fine
  16. The best part is Evan Moore's reaction he's just like, "aww shit"
  17. Mediocre? Regardless of the lack of titles the Knicks have always had some good players. Ewing, Reed, Frazier, Monroe, King just to name a few. So their on court product while they have not put up good teams, they've always had star power up until the 2000's where they had a significant drop off. Of course years from now people will add Melo and Amar'e to that list. 38 playoff appearances in 55 seasons from 1946-2001, I believe calling their history mediocre is funny. Plus when you talk Knicks basketball you aren't talking just about their on-court product. That's silly when you have a franchise like the Knicks. The Knicks are in the mecca NYC in the world's most famous arena with some of the worlds most passionate fans. I don't see how you can over rate that, good players or not.
  18. For the first 1 I believe the Thunder are a clear better choice than the Bulls. I feel the Thunder just have a overall more talented 5 than the Bulls. Not only that but the Thunder have guys who have identities and have been together longer. They are a young team growing. They have clear cut 1-2-3 options. They have 2 bigs that know their role. They have guys who come off the bench and move the ball around effectively, play good D and keep the team in it. Most importantly the Thunder have Kevin Durant, the Bulls have Derrick Rose. As much as I love Rose I feel like point guards almost never dominate the playoffs, the games get chippier, the lanes fill up faster, the defenses adjust quicker. It just because becomes much more difficult for the smaller guys to score. I think the elite scorers in the league, the Durants, LeBrons, Kobes, Wades, Dirks, Melos accel in that type of environment. Rose proved he was not elite last year, that or he just ran out of gas. Aside from all that it's tough to score while making plays for your teammates as well. It's asking a guy to be selfish but not overly selfish, a thin line players have to walk. Meanwhile if you are Melo Durant Kobe you get the ball and you can say screw my teammates this is my possession. The second 1, I'm just going to say the Lakers simply because I believe the Celtics can't survive this tough schedule and get past the Heat Knicks and Bulls. The Lakers always have a shot because they have Kobe.
