It's rare that any players hated eachother guts aside from the extreme rivalries, and you weren't alive during the 80's and 70's so how can you miss them? Players are people too, they are allowed to like and respect and hang out with eachother on their own time. Just because you work at Wal Mart does that mean you can't party with someone who works at Target before you go to work?
