Todd Haley will not play nice with Josh McDaniels

No big deal, he apologized, we all do things we regret when we get out [expletive] handed to us. -
Interesting Obeservation -- Racial Double Standard?
fish7718 replied to fish7718's topic in NFL Football
How did he get that rep tho? Guys don't risk their career by going all out on surgically repaired ankle before it's fully healed because they care about themselves. -
He certainly has influenced a lot of the media, at least in the sports world, this year.
-
Oh well I was a front runner when I was 5-6 then , haha at least I'm not a band wagoner/ship jumper
-
Yeah that's all I need <_< , at least it would dispel the idea that I'm some sort of front runner

Interesting Obeservation -- Racial Double Standard?
fish7718 replied to fish7718's topic in NFL Football
Is it completely different? Aren't we supposed to praise players for being leaders at positions like WR? -
Yes it has http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball best site for college basketball if you want more info on college basketball I'd go pick up this magazine http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d36/Fish7718/27331b8b.jpg it's $7 but I read on the train ride home one day and it's got indepth previews on all the contenders this year

Really? First of all, I know that pick looked bad on his part, but we have no clue whats going through his head. A lot of times if you do try to hit/catch with one hand you can end up knocking it up in the air and making it far easier for the DB's to pick. I highly doubt he WANTED Palmer to throw a pick. Funny a guy who is infamous for wanting the ball for himself, is now purposly giving up catches just to get at his QB?

Interesting Obeservation -- Racial Double Standard?
fish7718 replied to fish7718's topic in NFL Football
All about himself? His motives, according to him, were he wanted to win. He believes in his mind that if he gets the ball they will win, thus he wanted to ball. Besides the point though, this isn't about what happens Tuesday-Saturday, in the news paper and on ESPN, this is about what happens on the sideline when the team needs to fired up. TO goes out and gives 110% every Sunday. Who cares about rings and wins, yelling at your teammates is yelling at your teammates whether you are Jeff Garcia or Terry Bradshaw. -
Amar'e Wants Knicks To 'Grow Up', Play With Urgency

He could have gotten more money in Phoenix... -
Interesting Obeservation -- Racial Double Standard?

Is Brady a good guy? He is certainly painted as a good guy, but do you know he is actually a good guy? I'm not saying he isn't but the media made Michael Jordan look like a good guy too. Rivers might be a punk on the field, but does that mean he isn't a good guy off the field? Same for TO? I think the media can pick and choose who they want to be villains and heroes and people will eat it up. -

Possibly, there's an exception to every rule and people do hate Philip Rivers , I still think it's pretty sad though. -
Amar'e Wants Knicks To 'Grow Up', Play With Urgency
fish7718 replied to The Regime's topic in New York Knicks Team Forum
I don't think anyone regrets signing a 100 million dollar contract. Maybe he is mad they are losing? But regret? Nah...He is the face of the NY Knicks and probably already 100% more popular than he was in Phoenix. -
When Tom Brady is yelling at his teammates he is a good leader, great competitor, a guy who wants to win. When Terrell Owens is yelling at his teammates he is a distraction, a selfish player, a guy who doesn't care about his team. Hmm...

I'm lost

Good teams aren't supposed to play close games? Correction, if they are really "the best team in the NFL" they wouldn't win close games. Great teams win, period. Whether it's by a 1 or 100. Lions have been a tough little team at home this year, secretly. The Browns have as well, only not as secret. This isn't the BCS You started with the original, "if" btw .
-
The best team doesn't always win the super bowl, infact the best team rarely wins the super bowl , perfect example, Giants - Patriots. The Steelers are a great playoff team, the Jets looked good last year but you have to beat the Steelers through the air and I'm no sure Sanchez is ready to do that.
-
First of all, the only reason Suh is in, is because Hanson was injured 2 plays previous on a questionable roughing call which extended the Lions drive in the first place. Then even if Suh does hit the extra point the Lions are up 8, ever heard of something called a 2 point conversion? Even if they miss the 2 pt conversion, the Jets still have the ball down 5 with 2 mins left to go and a chance to win.
-
Miami Dolphins? Really? The Jets are the best team in the NFL, fewest flaws. The Giants are the best team in the NFC, very flew flaws, very experienced. The Steelers are winning the superbowl, they win in January, period.
-
I don't see how either win was lucky...because they outplayed the other team at the end of the game? I hate when play say 'lucky', yeah Folk missed 3 FG's they are real lucky. Sure their are some things went in their fortune, but that's just what happens when you are a good team and you work hard in practice and you play hard every down.
-
Coach is part of the team no?
-
Nice start it sometime in early December and I'll be able to participate. Just save me the cowboys .
-
Yeah and now they are the best team in football because they won 1 game vs Pittsburgh? Interesting logic. When Push cones to shove the Patriots will need Moss to get past the Jets. Welker will be stranded on Revis island all day.

23 yard field goals? You pointed out instances of 30+ yarders being missed hate to burst your bubble but that happens all the time 23 yarders should never ever be missed no excuses.
