  2. One time I was mowing my lawn, and rock shot out from under the mower and went directly toward my eye. I'm not sure if I closed my eye in time or not but I was so scared I thought I was done, half blind for the rest of my life. Turns out it was fine . Eye's are surprisingly resilient. ......Sorry Brandon
  3. Sounds like someone isn't good at the game ...and someone else
  4. It was more STL...strange all 3 are gone now...
  5. You've never read the Odyssey ???? Just watch a movie
  6. I don't like to watch the team embarrass itself in the summer...I'm a true fan and I'll always support em, but baseball is too boring a sport for me to watch meaningless games. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs718.snc4/63804_10150268762060346_661865345_14414416_3828454_n.jpg
  7. No surprise here, obviously Chicago and NY are Melo's number 1 choices.
  8. Of course there's pressure, but there's pressure in every game. That's just how it is the NFL. Was there no pressure on the Cowboys after starting the year 2-2 last year? Oh well I'm just going to watch the game and see what happens.
  9. There was that one freakish 5 year old that had amazingly hit puberty already that said "I gotta go to the bathroom" after he saw this
  10. WTF? You think players are actually out there saying "oh we are 0-2 we can't beat the Texans", I can't buy into that at all. Especially considering Dallas was 11-5 last year.
  11. -_- , please find one posts where I say records 2 weeks in actually matter in the NFL, fail at calling me a hypocrite. If it were vice versa I wouldn't be saying the Cowboys are gonna stomp all over the Texans. The Bucs and Chiefs are 2-0 are they better than the Cowboys? Records this early mean absolutley nothing. I still have the 9ers winning the NFC West, Vikings winning NFC North and Dallas Winning the NFC East, despite them all being 0-2. -_- EDIT: In fact I'm a firm believer of you could be better or worse than your record. The records mean something in week 13 or 14, not everything, but something. However in week 3 they mean nothing.
  12. Did you read the article? They put a whole bunch of celebs on sesame street.
  13. Totally disagree, your job as the leadoff man is to get on base. He does it 37% of the time, who cares if its by a single or walk.
  14. Look I don't think I'm over looking the fact that he's amazing at hitting singles, I'm more looking at his flaws rather than what he's good at. 40-50 walks for a lead off man? That's weak. And if you asked me who was the best all around OF of the previous decade I'd say Carlos Beltran without hesitation.
  15. I totally disagree, I understand he's an amazing hitter but his OBP is .371, OBP is a more important stat than AVG.
  16. You know he's being 'pushed out' as opposed to 'stepping down' right?
  17. Career .376 OBP, .430 SLG, that's good but not 'amazing' by any standards. I know he gets a lot hits and it is very impressive but overall he's not even a better hitter than Derek Jeter. The thing about Ichiro yeah he gets a lot of hits, but he doesn't draw many walks. Even Adam Dunn a guy with a .251 AVG has a higher OBP.
