  1. PG: Lin/Kidd SG: --Empty-- / -- Empty -- (Shumpert in January) SF: Anthony/Novak PF: Stoudemire/ --Empty-- C: Chandler/Camby So we really have 3 slots to fill at this point 2nd PF it's probable we can get Jeffries back on vet min, he's fine for that spot IMO, plus Melo can slide up and play 4 sometimes As for the 2 SG slots I have no clue, we have the one guy, James White, hopefully he and Shumpert and I'm assuming we will only be able to sign one more guard, hopefully those 3 will be enough to fill that role. We also might see a little Kidd-Lin lineup obviously getting JR back would be a perfect scnerio PG: Lin/Kidd SG: JR/Shumpert/White SF: Anthony/Novak PF: Amar'e/Jeffries C: Chandler/Camby That's a solid roster to go to war with. Obviously we are not Miami or Brooklyn with Dwight but we have enough defense in the right places where can give teams a series if we are on top of our game...
  2. Story from D'antoni So coach K brought like an Army veteran or something along those lines to a meeting once, LeBron and I forget who the other guy was maybe DWill, I forget, sat and the back and just texted the whole time. Kobe was in the front row listening intently. Next time it happened, LeBron said oh shit and went and grabbed his notebook and sat in the front row.
  3. Source Great news, only troubling part, "Knicks emerge as favorite" was also used for Nash
  4. lol that's kind, i'd say a lucky ass game saving play that almost got luckier lol
  5. 82 runs produced in 61 games, that's just silly for a rookie, has a 4.7 WAR far and away the best in the AL, he certainly deserves consideration..
  6. LET'S GOO!!!!! I [expletive]ing hate Papelbum, so glad we pulled that one out! Can't be losing the last place teams j/k [expletive]ing great game, great 9th, Ike huge double on a pitchers pitch. I [expletive]ing love how this team has no quit in them.
  7. Hm...We will prolly keep Lin, still have no bench...
  8. Lol BFT I was in the process of posting how surprised I was that you didn't like this deal. Lowry is likely to be better than anyone you draft next year. Just gotta pay the man.
  9. It was Phoenix who allowed this to happen by allowing him to get signed and traded
  10. My Grant Hill, what big arms you have!
  11. Seems like PF's that can hit a 15 foot jumpshot are becoming less and less rare, if that's your only excuse for keeping him that's silly
  12. You're making arguments that I either concede or don't care about. My only point is your replacing a guy who played 28 mpg last year, obviously if we had anything to fill his role if he was that bad it would have been done. Stop downplaying it like we can sign anyone in FA to do it, cause we didn't do that last year. Better just pray we don't get stuck with a Billy Walker filling that role.
  13. He never averaged under 24 mpg per month all season...and started over 60 games...
  14. Maybe, 28 MPG is never 'easily replaceable' to me tho...Landry may have sucked in some areas but he was still 6'7 decent defender, solid passer, good around the rim.
  15. omg you guys must be soulmates! I'm sorry but I can't take this thread seriously with Hollywood Homicide up there lol
  16. Hollywood Homicide? lolwut? No Apocalypse Now? Shaliq do you watch movies? lol
  17. I agree with everything iMan just said, at this point in the NBA you either want to be in full rebuild mode or fullout title cotend mode, you absolutely don't want to be the Atlanta Hawks riding the treadmill till your window closes. So if we don't win a title in 3 years oh well, got a few stars on expiring deals that we can trade for picks and young talent. I'll miss Shumpert but if I have to choose between Shump and Nash, I'll take Nash...
