Lol 2 years ago the Knicks were much worse off, the moves they made leading up to this FA were all great besides the trade to the Rockets. You can examine it anyway you want but in 2008 we had I believe a 90 million dollar pay roll and now we are one of the lowest in the league. The Knicks did a great job cutting cap besides what you think. What do you think they should have done? Stayed at 60 million and be a mediocre 8 seed for a couple years? No your wrong the Knicks did an excellent job and we are far better of than we were 2 years ago LeBron or not. The perception that we needed to land LeBron to make the moves worth is completely misconstrued. Out of the moves we made we got Anthony Randolph Amar'e Stoudemire Keleena Azibuike, and now Raymond Felton and even more cap space for the next couple of years.

Cliff Lee is also a rental who's contract expires. Instead now the Yankees keep a possible future all star catcher and Hughes is still their 5th starter... Also, this deal makes Texas ALOT better, Texas's only weakness was SP and they have had a log jam at the corner infield position forever. Texas has got to be many ppls pick to go to the WS in the AL this year, they are that good.
