  1. This whole argument is getting a little old. I used to believe that he had minimal defensive support, but the fact of the matter is that the Rangers defense is not NEARLY as poor as people like to make it sound.
  2. Tell me everything about Bill Russel and Bob Cousy. While you're at it, I'd love to know everything about Isaiah Thomas and Danny Ainge. You ARE clueless. Also, that was the worse response I've ever heard. .
  3. Maybe he can make a joke about Milan Lucic's back next game because Lucic needs to step it up........
  4. This game had me nervous as hell during both O.T's. Both goalies played spectacular, or should I saw all four goalies in Thomas, Ryder, Chara, and Price? This was an incredible game, and I hope the Bruins can win game six! Thanks for the tweet about Marchand though, Max!
  5. He was pretty great getting water for his teammates while he was injured sitting on the bench. Steve Nash is the correct answer.
  6. That's because you haven't seen those other players from the past play enough, and you're basing your opinion off of what other people have said about past players. There's a ZERO percent chance you have seen enough of the past great players for you to make an accurate assessment. You're looking like a fool in this thread. Anyways, Kobe is #1 all-time, and he has been for a few years. He's without a doubt a better player then M.J., that's for sure. However, for pure dominance, it's Shaq and it's not even close.
  7. That's what I was referring to. I do think he may have been dazed after that hit, and he hasn't played since the Torres hit, so I can't say he's exaggerating. I actually take back what I said about him when comparing him to Matt Cooke, but I knew you would want to chime in. I don't have a big problem with the Eberle hit either.
  8. It has to do with more than just the Seabrook hit. I think Seabrook overreacts when he gets hit sometimes, so it doesn't have to do with just that hit. Torres is becoming the Matt Cooke of the Western Conference. In regards to the Edler hit, I thought it was a cheap elbow the first few times I saw it, but I don't think he hit him with his elbow after viewing the video a few more times. We will have to wait and see what the ruling will be. And, the Sedins are being shut down big time, and if Kane and Toews can get their act together, the Canucks could be in big trouble.
  9. The Canucks are gooning it up big time right now. I hope Chicago comes back and wins this series. Torres is a piece of shit, and Edler can have fun watching at least game 6 from the box.
  10. What did Ferrence do? Jack Edwards mentioned that people were saying he made a gesture, but I still don't know what he did. Anyways, that game had my stomach churning the entire time. That was an instant classic.
  11. I haven't whined about them losing. It started when you brought up P.K. Subban, which was completely fine, and I commented and said Krejci needs to shut up and play, and from there, you took everything out of context and made stuff up. And, I never said Chara's stick didn't hit his face. As a matter of fact, I said it did and could have been called a penalty, but you were living in your own world and said it was dirty and cheap. That is what I was correcting you on. Start at 2:23, and you tell me if that is a dirty stick to the face.
  12. I didn't have a chance to watch most of the game, but once I turned it on, the Capitals scored in 2 O.T. It sucks to lose like that, but nothing is worse than losing in game 7 with a player that should have been suspended scoring the GWG in O.T., and then in the following year being up 3-0 in a series, then up 3-0 in game 7, and then proceeding to blow the lead. <_< .
  13. Good thing I didn't generalize the entire fan base. I said "many", which is just a fact. Also, I would love for you to provide me with the video evidence of Chara's dirty play. I'm waiting............ I make a comment about the game, and you take everything out of context and whine, whine, whine. It's really pathetic.
  14. I'm sure the NHL wouldn't be buried during the NFL and NBA season......
  15. Versus is going to be renamed with a name having something to do with NBC, so it will be completely revamped. So, they should get even more exposure with that change. Most NHL executives favored ESPN, but the logistics of the deal was too tough to get around.
  16. The NHL is making $200 million a year with the new deal with Versus, which is $80 million more than ESPN had given during their previous contract. A big reason ESPN did not get rights was because it was too hard for the NHL and ESPN to work around NBA and Versus' matching rights for the NHL, which they included in their previous contract.
  17. You mean when Chara's stick was on the ice? You really are [expletive]ing retarded. It could have been a penalty because you have to control your stick no matter what, but his stick was on the ice you dumb-ass. You're grasping at straws that aren't there. You personify the true idiocy that many Montreal Canadiens fans posses. Please, I'd love for you to show me Chara's dirty play last night. Please, do show me, or don't because you'll look like more of a fool than you already are.
  18. I edited my post about that play because I didn't want Universe to come in here and cry about it and say that it was a clean play, but it was as dirty play.
  19. Tim Thomas did not look good in the first two games of the series, but he was very good tonight, minus the two weak goals. I know you can't just take away those weak goals, but besides that, he made some huge saves.
  20. If I were a Knicks fan, I'd be angrier about the Celtics players being on the court during play making contact with their teammates on the court rather than the KG "trip". I'm not sure if it really was an illegal screen or trip, but I don't know why there was no technical foul at the end of the game....
  21. Maybe "outplayed" is not the correct word, but they definitely controlled the play for the vast majority of the game. However, the few times the Canadiens were in the offensive zone, they scored or made plays happen. I would rather win and not control they play then control the play and lose. Honestly, do you think the Canadiens outplayed the Bruins and controlled the play? Also, did you feel confident after the Bruins scored to cut the lead to 2-1? They were really controlling everything at that point, but they make it so damn obvious that they are going to pass to the point every damn time, that the Canadiens can block every shot. It seems like the Canadiens skaters are going to have more blocks this series than Price will. This is a match-up I really wasn't sure about. At first, I really didn't want to play the Canadiens because I had a really bad feeling, but on the other hand, Price was shelled the last two games of the regular season, so I THOUGHT the Bruins could score. The Bruins NEED to win by three or more goals tomorrow in order to regain confidence from people.
  22. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This [expletive]ing sucks. I feel this series can still go either way, but not having won at the Bell Centre in 14 months is a little.....concerning. If the Canadiens were winning with their speed, which they have an advantage in, I would not be as frustrated, but they are winning by other means, and it sucks. GO BRUINS!
  23. How are the juicers going to do on the defensive-line this season?
