  1. I'm not saying that slavery is about race because I know the first slave was owned by a black man. However, in this situation it was clearly about race, or he would not have used the words he used. In this case LeBron is rich, but the white man is richer, so it was a terrible example by Jackson.
  2. You have a problem putting things in context. Obvious this is all about race when he is talking about a slave, and if you think otherwise, I don't know what to tell you. This seems like a post that you would have made in the "Kobe intimidates people with his money" thread. . You know very well what Jackson said was regarding a white and black issue.
  3. Please, do not even bring up the 2002 WCF because everyone knows it was rigged, and I've had to show the naive multiple times, but they refuse to admit it.
  4. Yes, the definately can, and I think Galinari will play a huge roll in that. However, Amare will lead that way with 26ppg, 8,7 rp, 3.2apg, and 2.4bpg while shooting 60% from the filed. :glasses: .
  5. What the hell has this world come to? I actually have to agree, meaning you are correct for once. .
  6. What's almost as dumb is Michael Wilbon saying that he agrees with Jackson, but Bob Ryan put him in his place. .
  7. The Nets are good enough to make the playoffs. Travis Outlaw will have a big season.
  8. Again: Jerry Remy =/= Jack Edward/Tommy Heinson. .
  9. The ONLY way people wouldn't be mad at LeBron is if he stayed in Cleveland and won at least five Championships, and he'd stll be criticized by many people. -If he goes to New York, you'd say he's all about money and doesn't care about winning. - If he goes to Miami, you'd say he can't win anything on his own(even though no player in NBA history has), and needed D-Wade to help carry him. -If he stays in Cleveland an doesn't win any Championships, you'd say he was stupid to stay there and that there is no point in loyalty if you know your team can't win. -If he stays in Cleveland and wins 5+ rings, you'd say that he was too afraid to handle the big lights in New york, and missed out on hundreds of millions of dollars. He just can't win in this situation because many of you are retarded.
  10. Dirk Nowitzki. . You're right, people don't give him credit as a scorer, but rather as a defender. .
  11. What the hell are you talking about? You can call Tommy Heinson(Celtics broadcaster) and Jack Edwards(Bruins broadcaster) homers and I wouldn't argue with that, but Jerry Remy is by far the farthest thing from a homer, and is probably the best in the business, but Vin Scully has been around for ages. Jerry Remy compliments the opposing teams more than he does the Red Sox, so you need to learn what you are talking about. It's alright though, you'll hear Remy saying, "Home-run Albert Pujols, as the Red Sox extend their lead" in a year or two. .
  12. Damn, this would be a deadly trio, but they'd be better with Deron Williams instead of CP3. Also, why is everyone [expletive]ing about players teaming up to WINNNNNN? You are the people that probably always [expletive] that all NBA players want is a pay-check, and now that they are teaming up, you are mad. . The Celtics are aging and will be toast with their current team soon, and I won't be [expletive]ing about watching the other trios try and win championships. All of you probably though that the Heat trio would be a great idea before it actually happened, and now that it has, people are nervous that their own teams won't stand a chance. I really have no problem with this, and I think it will actually help the league.
  13. The Heat would get obliterated on the boards if they had to face the Lakers in the finals. The Lakers are the clear class of this league, even though I hate them, and if Bynum is HEALTHY, I'd give the Heat a 25% chance of beating the Lakers in a 7 game series no matter who else they sign.
  14. I like his comment about the "Make-Be-Leafs" the most. . Thanks for the #2 overall pick this year, and looking forward to the same next season. .
  15. No, you just know that you are wrong and can't compare the injuries to both teams because the injuries to the Sox are much more impactful. However, if the Yankees get Cliff Lee, I would say they have a 90% chance of winning the division, but if it falls through, I give them a 45% chance. It's alright, you can cry next year when Adrian Gonzolez joins the Sox.
  16. I just saw that thread right after I posted. . This will be a longggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg year for LeBron.
  17. If both teams make the playoffs, you don't need a full staff. Lester and Bucholtz have been superior to everyone on your team not named Pettite. Also, stop comparing those players to the Red Sox injured players because it's no comparison. Not one of them is better than any of the major injured players on the Sox, and there's no bias there.
  18. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2010/07/lebron-james-fathead-dan-gilbert-benedict-arnold/1 LeBron James fatheads used to be $99.99, but they are now $17.41. The reason..........is 1741 is the year that Benedict Arnold was born. .For those of you that know [expletive] about history, he is the country's biggest traior. Gilbert is going all out. .
  19. The Yankees are five games ahead with the Sox missed Pedroia, Lowell, Beckett, Dice-K(for a while), Ellsburry, Martinez, ect. Not to mention that Boston still has superior pitching unless Lee arrives. Sox have the division on lock.
  20. Too bad for the Yankees that they are barely leading the division even though the Red Sox have been riddled with injuries. Once they get healthy, bye bye Yankees!
  21. How the hell is it small? It's much bigger than the football field he has. .
  22. Well, it's definitely the busiest day on the new OTR besides the first couple of weeks after the site was hacked and put upagain because all of those other days are within a week of each other.
  23. What a surprise. The biggest Kobe jocker, troll, and unnecessarily bring the Lakers into every conversation posted makes a thread like this. .
  24. New York aren't the losers of Free-Agency. It definitely has to be the Cavs.
