I'm not a big fan of the MLB All-Star game determining which league gets "Home-Filed Advantage" during the playoffs even though the Boston Red Sox are an AL team. Also, to say that the All-Star game will show you which league is better is absurd because it's one game, and any team can win one game. Not to mention, if this was the World Series, I'm pretty sure that Dustin Pedroia and Evan Longoria would be playing through their injuries, and teams wouldn't be asking the All-Star team managers to not pitch the pitchers on their own team.

Yah, Ray Emery used to box when he was younger, and he played in Europe this year, but is now on the Philadelphia Flyers. You never really see a skater fight a goalie, but you will see goalies fight once in a while, but not as much now with the new rules the NHL has. I can play that game as well. David Ortiz was non-existent for the first two months. Josh Beckett and Jon Lester had [expletive]ty starts to the season, and Dice-K has barely pitched. Kevin Youkilis had a .404 average on May 20, and dropped all the way to .289 on July 9, and is now batting .289. Dustin Pedroia was batting .341 on May 26, and dropped all the way to .285 on July 4, and is now batting .303. Jason Bay's average has been going down , and down, and down. Mike Lowell has been injured for a while. Do you really want to play that game?
