  1. Remember last year when the Giants had 2 1,000 yard rushers and the media made a huge thing of it and basically called them like the greatest rushing attack in history. Well, isn't it funny how this year, the Panthers have achieved the same feat, and yet I haven't heard one mention of it yet? In fact, the only even slight mention of it was the fact that Stewart was the first ever 200 yard rusher against the media darling giants in new york...

  2. Romo has done nothing but win ever since he took over over as QB. People said he couldnt do anything without TO, yet he is putting up big numbers. The December struggles still continue, but it has nothing to do with his play. He has yet to turn the ball over this month. Rodgers is good, but heplays in a much easier division and has better options at WR. I dont care what people say about Greg Jennings, he hasnt put up big numbers this season but he is still better than Miles Austin and Roy Wiliams.

he's done nothing but win... except in December. 6-10 in December total, 20 INTs. Rogers may have better overall targets, but he has less of a run game, a worse defense (at least when it comes to rushing the passer) and a terrible offensive line. Rogers is younger and has a higher ceiling and thus I'd certainly pick him over inconsistent Romo.

  3. Brett Farve and the Vikings vs. anyone else. I'd just love to see him back in the Super Bowl.

The only slightly good team they've faced is the Cardinals, and we all know how that went. I don't count the Bengals as a good because they lost to some crappy teams, and play in a weak and inconsistent division, in which they've gotten 6 of their 9 wins. I'd say they get exposed in the playoffs.

  4. i think they can. if they played 10 games against the saints they wouldnt win more then a couple, but with the eagles offense they can easily put up 40 points real quick. the saints offense is probably the only one that can do the same though.

if kolb put up 300 yards against the saints, i wonder what mcnabb could do

IMO Kolb is a better raw passer then McNabb, but McNabb is a much better leader

  5. That happens in every single football game. If the referee had to personally review each incompletion and add a second or something to the end of each play, we'd be watching a game that took upwards to five hours. So that's ridiculous.

I'm not a Big 12 guy. It's a critical play of the game that'll decide who plays in the National Championship, and that, as in the rulebook, says that a review is allowed. That's the end of story.

I'm not saying that they should make sure it's perfect for every call, I'm just saying that it's not fair that Nebraska gets screwed out of a game that they should have won.

  6.

I don't have the link to the article, but a Yahoo official writer said that he calculated it and on the 23 incomplete passes before the Mccoy one at the end, a total of about 24 seconds were let run off of the clock, but the officials let that specific one go so that the Big 12 wouldn't go a 4th or 5th straight year without a team in the NC game. Obviously a Big 12 guy is gonna say they did the right thing.

  7. He made the announcement on Sunday morning before the game against the Lions. This time, the new name will be "Hachi Go," which is Japanese for "Eight Five." From Glenn S. Moore at The Dugout Sports Show:

"I'm not sure how Mr. Goodell is going to take it," Ochocinco said as he held up the jersey.

    But why "Hachi Go"?

A Japanese film crew was in town a couple weeks ago to do a piece on the Bengals for a NFL show over there. They said all NFL fans in Japan know who Chad Ochocinco is and they seriously made a proposal to Chad to change his last name to "Hachi Go".

"Some fans of mine that are Japanese said I should change my last name to 'Hachi Go'."

    lmfao

  8. Sean payton easily, even though i hate the guy, he really turned around the saints the past few years, and looking as the nfl's most dominant team this year.

    Other Coaches

Childress- is a joke of a coach and is only winning cause of the talent and frazier as defensive coordinator.

Marvin lewis- has a good record this year, team is healthy, weak division, but they lost to the raiders and had 2 close games against the browns...

Jim Caldwell- Colts defense is playing well, but its still Peytons Manning team

Josh McDaniel-I believe is doing great with the TALENT he is working with, transformed the defense into a respectable defense in the league, they just need ironically a better quarterback.

Norv Turner- need to give him some credit, chargers have a 7 game winning streak and Philip rivers is looking fantastic.

Mike McCarthy- who would of thought greenbay packers defense would be number 1 in yards in their first year of 3-4 defense? Packers have a lot of great talent, Aaron rodgers is a beast at qb, tearing up teams with a [expletive]ty line. However, packers still need a much better oline, imagine what Rodgers could do with a real running game and line? Scary

ryan grant is in the top 10 in the NFL in rushing, possibly even the top 5, so they have a running game

  9. GLENDALE, Arizona (AP) - Minnesota linebacker E.J. Henderson broke his leg against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in a brutal injury that will apparently sideline him for the season while dealing a serious blow to the Vikings' defensive unit.

Henderson fractured his femur while trying to tackle Tim Hightower late in the fourth quarter - his leg twisting violently as he went down. He was taken off the field on a motorized cart after doctors spent several minutes attending to the star linebacker. His brother and teammate, Erin, held Henderson's hand as they were driven to the locker room.

I'm a little surprised, it looked like it was more serious when he first went down in the game, but obviously a broken leg is still serious

  10. I think Jim Harbaugh would be the best candidate. Kelly hasn't really convinced me 100%. Going undefeated in the Big East is nice and all, but I want to see him do it at a Pac-10 school, Big 12 school, or an SEC school. This candidates aren't really homerun hires.

Harbaugh said in the pre-game festivities for the Ravens (he was there with the rest of his family to see his brother's team) that he'll stay, but then again Kelly's probably said he'll stay about 10 times
