  1. He took the time to write an e-mail to the commissioner about a legal NBA trade and why it shouldn't happen. How does he not deserve a ton of blame for this? Its not like the owners voted on this. And yes I did bring up LeBron because its automatically assumed that its his fault you guys were so bad last year when in reality, Gilbert (who for some reason you people love even though he absolutely sucks) and management are just as guilty, if not more than LeBron.
  2. http://a2.twimg.com/profile_images/1494832352/0001169232-07-003769_FLAG_normal.JPGMickyArison Micky Arison Whatever happens with @CP3 all I can say is I wish him the the best. A class act. Love having that guy as an owner.
  3. Lol, they could've had Amare. Can you even grasp that concept? Amare is on another planet compared to old man Jamison. Dan Gilbert didn't cause the lockout, but your damn right he was at the forefront of the hard-line owners that were making this thing get out of hand. I can post countless articles if that's what you want. Its fine to be mad for a couple months but to still act like a bitch over a year after is just retarded.
  4. Gasoft gonna soft. Its a business dude, that's how things work. I do feel bad for Lamar because he really thought he'd be a Laker for life and he's one of my favorite players.
  5. The NBA can't afford a strike. They're better off cutting their loses and letting the trade go through and tell Gilbert to [expletive] off.
  6. You mean kinda like LeBron was throughout that season up until the TV thing?
  7. Damn right I brought up LeBron, because you were throwing a show every day on here last year about him. Are you that blind enough to think that LeBron didn't want them to trade for Amare no matter who they had to give up? The chance was there wasn't it? Your franchise would likely have a ring and none of this would be happening. I really doubt he gave a [expletive] about losing JJ Hickson but instead he got stuck with Antawn Jamison...Antawn Jamison? Dan Gilbert was the [expletive]ing leader of the whole small market owners causing the lockout this summer. Almost everyone with a brain knows that. He's still butthurt over LeBron and who knows how much longer he's going to take it out on teams with competent management who've proven that they can build winning teams.
  8. I really hope this doesn't happen with the Heat. I know we have one of the best player/management relationships in the league so I don't think anything will happen but CP3 is best friends with Wade, LBJ and really tight with Udonis as well so we'll see.
  9. Your owner wrote a [expletive]ing e-mail to David Stern bitching about a legal NBA trade. Whether I think it was a bad trade or not that's by far the most bitchassness I've ever seen in the NBA. Its his fault you guys picked first last year. Not LeBron's, not the Heat not anyone but Dan Gilbert. He hired the shit GM's that couldn't get the job done bringing in talent around LeBron when they had the chance. The whole pity card he's trying to play is pathetic.
  10. This. Its no coincidence that the best teams also have the best front offices in the league.
  11. How have they not fired him yet? They have tradable pieces it makes no sense to me how eiher Prince or Hamilton is still even there.
  12. See I think you can build through the draft in today's league as well. Just look at the Thunder. They might be the best team in the West this year and the only guy they traded for was Perkins. Some teams/front offices just aren't patient enough to let it play out.
  13. Just wondering, after the Battier and Curry signings are the Heat under the cap? I would love to have a shot at either Baron or Chauncey.
  14. Absolutely. Look at the Celtics, Showtime, Bad Boys, Bulls etc. all featured more than 1 star. The Pistons/Spurs are the exception to the rule and the Spurs are borderline.
  15. Well technically both of us built around a star player...Kobe and Dwyane but we just added more stars around them. (not yet for LA at least).
  16. http://talksportsphilly.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/miamiheat.jpg Sorry man..blame Riley
  17. http://a1.twimg.com/profile_images/641970951/twitterProfilePhoto_normal.jpgESPNSteinLine Marc Stein One source close to the three-team Chris Paul trade talks just toldESPN.com: "The deal is off."
  18. Now the rumor is that Okafor is headed to LA as well. Lol, wtf are these teams thinking?
  19. Yeah he should be editing his resume as we speak but actually, I'm wondering more what the [expletive] Morey was thinking during this deal. They just gave up some really good players and a pick to get Pau Gasol and help a conference rival get Chris Paul. I just don't understand it.
  20. Lol, why do I feel like Heat fans were making these same type of posts last year? I have no issue with him going there, or even Dwight. Its just odd that these teams are handing these guys to LA when there are better deals to be made out there.
  21. What's even worse is that the NBA owns the Hornets lol. After all the time we missed out on this year thanks to these "hardline, small market teams" they go out and basically giftwrap CP3 to the Lakers for next to nothing...I just don't get it. Same thing with Houston.
