I think so. The Heat and Celtics jumped to another level, a level that I dont think the Magic are at. The Bulls are now threatening to better then the Magic. I think they are the losers of the offseason, everyone got better while the Magic got worse.

Which is it? This is a tough one but I say the Heat. There are maybe one or two teams in the league that can handle a Lebron - Wade combo. Those two are good enough to literally destroy teams by themselves. You need elite defensive players at both positions to slow them down, hardly anyone has that. Not to mention their supporting cast isnt bad, and they have Bosh also as a third option which is scary. Of course, I think a playoff series is a different story. The Lakers could do it as well, but their regular season track record doesnt warrant it. They normally are content with the 1st seed in the West. Although this certainly looks like a year they could do it. A full year of healthy fingers for Kobe perhaps would help. They have all the pieces, and are certainly the best defensive team in the league. The argument that not many teams can handle an LBJ-Wade combo, can be made for the Bynum-Gasol combo as well. The problem in the last few years has been point guard play, with Blake that should no longer be a weakness. But, I still think a 70 win Heat team is more likely then a 70 win Lakers team. The Celtics might be able to because of their depth, but as they are a very old team they cant keep up with most teams that want to push the tempo in the regular season. Not to mention back to backs.

I cancelled my plans Friday to do the stupid draft, somebody dropped out last minute and then apparently it was a good idea to schedule it the next day? I came in late to the draft and 3 picks had already been selected, it was horrible picks and I would have never selected those. I tried to salvage it but it was too late, I went ahead and exited the draft. It was stupid to make it the day after our failed attempt when theres still a month until the season starts. Oh well idc, im not gonna be active in the league, kick me out if u want, I made a seperate email for this anyway.

Yeah man I think it is. You have 4 power houses in the East. Miami, Boston, Orlando, and Chicago. And yes I do think the Bulls are a legitimate contender. Then you have the Hawks as well who are consistently good. The competition falls off a little bit from there, but the Bucks were hot in the 2nd half of last year and they got Salmons for a full year this year as well as Bogut, they could surprise some people. The Knicks have gotten better, and the Nets have improved but might still get Carmelo. The West seems to have gotten worse. There are maybe 2 contenders besides the Lakers in the West, im talking about Houston and Portland. But both of those teams have bad injury problems (Yao and Oden).
