  1. Centers have higher FG% because their shots are closer to the rim, because they are seven feet tall and weigh far more than most guards. Logic applied. You went ballistic because I laughed at the argument.

    http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/topic/5340-shaqs-2pt-field-goals-vs-kobes-2pt-field-goals

Locked it up because you were arguing about it for about five pages elsewhere, and then, you created five more topics (the same exact thing) because the one above was locked, turning into a spammer. That was ban-worthy.

Plus, you were going all out on NetsVC and ATDI over and over again in topics (as stated in the moderator system, three different mods increased your warn level in a month's time, which is a long suspension that wasn't given to you).

But, I didn't unban to talk about this.

Anyway...all formerly banned members, who were originals, were unbanned. Even Diesel.

Also, I like how you edited my signature. To hide you looking bad, you wanna find bad in what everyone else does. But when you [expletive] up, you don't want to own up to it, and you don't want it to follow you around.

Thanks for deleting my quote, where you clearly stated to get it through my [expletive]ing thick skull.

Plus, you were going all out on NetsVC and ATDI over and over again in topics (as stated in the moderator system, three different mods increased your warn level in a month's time, which is a long suspension that wasn't given to you).

They weren't making fun of my religion and were cheering that little kids got shot?

  3. What the [expletive] do you think I've been saying this entire time? Re-read my posts, instead of following me around.

I stated that the Magic beat the Lakers both times in the 2009 regular season. The Lakers beat their [expletive] in the Finals.

I stated that the Wizards beat the Celtics three of four in the 2008 regular season. Boston would've wiped the court with them in the playoffs.

If Charlotte somehow, someway, found a way to make the playoffs, they'd get destroyed.

The next time you try and talk basketball with me, you need to better prepare yourself and know who you're quoting and why you're doing it. I would've expected you to know that by now.

Man this guy keeps personally attacking me and Cursing.

Why dont the mods do anything?

  4. Hmm...

So this must have been all BS, huh? Or is your post in here BS? :)

Just to have some more fun with you, Boston is 5-9 in their last 14 games against the Washington Wizards. In fact...they were 1-3 against them in 2008, when the Celtics ended up winning the championship.

So, using your impeccable knowledge and logic, the Wizards just have to be better than the Celtics...or, as you put it...

    Wizards > Celtics.

You can either try and keep up with me, or fall behind. You'll never, ever pull ahead.

Some teams have terrible mismatches against others. For the Lakers it is Atlanta and the Bobcats, they always catch them of guard.

Knowing that you have watched so much basketball, I would have expected you to know that by now.

  5. Then the same should apply to Shaq if he was out 16-feet from the rim. Stay consistent with what you said earlier, that Shaq was a better shooter than Kobe. That was it. You didn't consider the shots they took, just as you didn't consider Magic's drives to the rim, and his short shots, so don't do something different for Shaq.

You're wrong, just as you have been in this topic the entire time, and it's embarrassing that I wasted my time in here when I could've been sleeping or debating on my Lakers site.

I'm logging out. You can have your last word, because this has become completely worthless to me.

I'll lock my own topic once you post whatever. Hurry up.

No Dont lock it, please leave this topic Open.

But again and you agreed that you cant compare a C to an SG, I dont see why you are trying to bring up the same argument? Again I said different positions on the court are asked to do different things, so if its an SG, whos primary role is to shoot, then you let him shoot thats it. Again I said shaq makes more 2PT field goals and I stand by that statement.

  6. So, Team USA is down by three to Spain. They need a three, and both Kobe and Kidd are heavily defended, but the other players in the game aren't three-point shooters (don't know why).

Who gets to take that three-point shot? Who's the better three-point shooter, despite the defense in their face?

I'm not even trying anymore. I could really tear into the discussion, but it's 2:40 AM and I'm done with this topic at this point.

You pass to the open man, there must be a flaw on defense somewhere. There is no such thing as perfect defense.

  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqcgy6xLrEM

I guess Kobe has a higher chance of making this shot than do Lamar Odom or Brian cook who are wide open. Dont get me wrong when Kobe makes those shots they are pretty impressive but at the same time unnecessary. If magic was in the same situation he would pass the ball, there fore he is also a better decesion maker or whatever you want to call it. There is also IQ in the game thats overlooked.

  8. Then your argument is flawed, because you told me that Shaq shoots better two-point shots...and 16-footers are two-point shots.

Shaq is a dunker. Kobe is a shooter. Odom is a slasher and finisher. So is LeBron. Ray Allen is a shooter.

The discussion is over. Kobe is the better shooter. Shaq, Odom, even LeBron...you don't choose any of them to take that 16-footer, even though their FG% are over 48% and better than Bryant's for the 2009 season.

Now, if you want to argue that, you can also tell me who takes that two-point shot between Kendrick Perkins and Ray Allen, or Kwame Brown and Richard Hamilton, or Joakim Noah and Ben Gordon...and we can go all day long.

Shaq does shoot better two point shots from 2 feet away.

I already told you, that you cant compare shaq and Kobe, because they have different roles on the team. You cant compare a C to an SG, but you can compare a C to a C get it?

So who would you want taking the lost shot, Ray Allen or Kobe?

  9. your obvious just arguing to be a pain in the [expletive] lol.

shaq may have a higher percentage because hes dunking..

shaq isnnt shooting midrange or 3's, hes camping and dunking.

i think jason kidd had a higher 3pt shooting percentage last year then kobe, that doesnt mean kidd shoots 3's better then kobe.

According to statistical percentages it does, or else We must be talking about Practice or something then.

Again How is a kids score on a test of 60 more impressive than the kid who got 90 Please explain?

  10. Both are wide-open, for some stupid reason.

Who gets the ball to make that last 16-foot, two-point SHOT?

Whoever has the higher field goal percentage that night, since we are Comparing Kobe and Lamar, but if it was Shaq and KObe from 16 feet then the answer is obviously Kobe, also if it was from 2 feet then the answer would obviously be Shaq.

  11. Garnett (DPOY) is waiting in the paint. Your team is down by one, you need a two to win the game. Who gets the ball, Kobe Bryant or Lamar Odom, if both are 16 feet from the rim? Who's taking the SHOT from 16 feet out with 1.5 seconds left?

It depends if Kobe is Open or not, also Depends if Lamar is Open or Not.

If Lamar is Open, I pass the ball to him and watch him score.

If Kobe is Open, I pass the ball to him and watch him score.

If Kobe is doubled, I pass the ball to someone else because they are obviously open.

If Lamar is doubled, same scenerio.

If Kobe is in single Coverage, then I pass the ball to Kobe.

But for a Game Winner, I would still pass it to Shaq in his Prime to Dunk it on KG.

  12. For the last [expletive]ing time, nobody said they were. Get that through your thick skull.

Go to a basketball coach and ask him what the hell efficiency is. Ask him what a shot is, and what a dunk is. Ask him if Shaq is a better shooter than Kobe, and don't say another word when he laughs in your face and questions your intelligence.

I suggest you leave the site. I'm getting sick of you being a dumbass on purpose, and if you really aren't, I'd rather not have you posting here ruining our quality discussion.

OKay if they are not then I forgot what we are debating?

I will ask the coach who is a better shooter from 2PT fieldgoals and he will agree its Shaq.

I guess I am a dumbass for wanting to Post a Debate on a Basketball Forum Website? Okay that makes a lot of Sense I guess.

  13. Here's the summary of his arguments...

    1) Shaq is one of the best shooters in the history of the game.

    2) It's okay to use stats when comparing Magic to Kobe, but you can't do it when comparing LeBron to Bryant

    3) You can't compare two players of different positions, even though Kobe did run the point-forward in the triangle

    4) You can't compare a non-HOF'er to a HOF'er, unless it's Karl Malone compared to Charles Barkley

    5) On-court abilities are measured by your level of sportsmanlike conduct, which explains LeBron's sucky play and Antawn Jamison's HOF play.

    6) Leadership makes for the greatest players, which include Derek Fisher and Antonio McDyess.

I don't know if I covered everything or not.

#1, I want the exact quote where i said that.

#2, I already said Different Topics have different opinions and views.

#3, I agreed with you that Kobe and Magic had similar roles.

#4, I will stick by my statement, and then again different topics have different views.

#5, We are debating the overall better player, last time I checked, Sportsmanship and Leadership Count for something.

#6 I said Magic had More Leadership than Kobe, which again is true, nowhere did I say that Kobe had no leadership abilites, nor did I anywhere say that Derek Fisher or Antonio McDyess are better leaders than Kobe.
