  1. Game #15, LAC @ LAL 91-96, (9-6, 4th West) http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2012-01/67641874.jpg Clippers forward Blake Griffin, who finished with a team-high 26 points and nine rebounds, showed the Lakers home crowd his above-the-rim style, pump-faking Gasol on the perimeter, then driving baseline. He lifted the ball toward the rim, pulled it back down to his waist while in mid-flight and then stuffed it through the rim with enough force to rattle the sold-out arena.
  2. Still half game ahead after the Memphis game. Surprisingly the Clippers come around pretty fast. I wasn't quite sure how long it would be before things started to click for the team, but luckily they've played really well together so far. Before the season started, I thought the Lakers would be a better regular season team while the Clippers would actually do better in the playoffs. But now that the season has been going on for a few weeks now, I do think that the Clippers can win the Pacific division!
  3. It's gonna be a great game. Can't wait to see Landon's FA Cup return!!
  4. That rhymes with: A Wade flop makes Nitro's bedroom 'Fap City.'
  5. ^ I kind of agree with you but at the same time, in my opinion great rivalries have to be built over time. Lakers/ Celtics is a true NBA rivalry. I think the Clippers/Lakers can become a rivalry but only after a couple of playoff appearances. I can imagine how pissed off the Lakers players are now that the Clippers are getting more media coverage nationally. The Lakers still may have a strong base in LA but nationally the Clippers brand is definitely booming and blooming. http://clippers.topbuzz.com/modules/PNphpBB2/images/avatars/upload/8557345244ef0eec15d191.jpg
  6. Difference of opinion here. Blake just made up for a Chauncey turnover by saving what would've been and a lost ball and a steal for Metta World Peace that could well lead to 2 easy pts for the Lakers and bring more momentum. It was one of many clutch moments and Blake fought hard. Also Metta went out of his way and crossed the thin NBA rules line with his WWE stuff, IMHO.
  7. ^ Seriously. And to Lkr: Flopping is a lot different from creating a charge when there's a lot of contact. Blake's a big guy so,' IMHO he's just showing that he's actually getting hit.
  8. Ancient times, ancient men. But this is now, and that was then. There's a new war nowadays and this time around it's different from all L.A. batlles we've seen before.
  9. Congrats. Well deserved. Is he still active? What happened to him?
  10. Glad VDN played Mo instead of Billups down the stretch. Billups needs to stop forcing those ridiculous off-balance shots. Sticking to spot up 3's is his strength. Mo, on the other hand, is still on fire and can get off good shots any time he wants plus he's just faster than Chauncey. Ugly game, important win nevertheless.
  11. Gotcha.One recruit already: botev1921.

  14. Clippers are looking to bounce back after their loss to the Lakers. They will be sporting their new ABA jerseys, more information here: Full Story
  15. They won this battle but they haven't won the war!
  16. Kobe was denying it, and CP3's like: "Yeah you did you call him soft!" That is funny. I liked how Gasol tried to pick a fight with someone who is a foot smaller and that he outweighs by at least 85 pounds. Gee, what a 'tough' guy! I'd take CP3 in a fight over Gasol. He should chage his name just like Ron Artest did and call himself Paulina Gasoft.
  17. Just in case you're hesitating... Šhãłïq's jersey number is: http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f321/sha44/WEST50prod.jpg
  18. Not to generalize, but majority of Laker fans have very little knowledge of basketball. To actually have the time in your hands to put together something to incriminate a whole based on Matt Barnes' statement is beyond me. All this is part of the hatred they are building for us because we are a threat and have a better team. You are going to see more Clipper related hate videos, pictures, coverage, than ever everywhere. Someone mentioned Vlade and Fisher... They are TOP TOP FLOPPERS but you can't get mad at a flop..... if it costed a turnover it's just smart basketball... Period. what about when someone's driving to the whole and the opp. A player puts his hand on his hips (the back of his hand) to slow him down. Kobe does that all the time and that's not a foul or a flop of any kind. Why? Because it's smart basketball. P.S. http://i42.tinypic.com/20g0y.jpg
  19. Dope! Sick present for a 7th anniversary! New team reps looks great: http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_images/clean/team_reps/lac.png
  20. BLEDSOE BUILDING TOWARDS RETURN Second-year point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has been out since October while recovering from surgery on a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee, practiced today. He is continuing to work toward a return in early February and according to Del Negro, Bledsoe may spend some time in the Development League with the Bakersfield Jam. “We’re talking about seeing if he can maybe go down and play a couple of games in the D-League and give him some experience in terms of just getting his mind right,” Del Negro said. “He was out practicing today for the first time in a while. We just got to build it [his knee] up. We want to be smart about his injury and he needs some game minutes under his belt before we throw him back out there.” Source: Clippers official site
