BD wanted to play for the Clippers back in '99. The Clippers also wanted BD but had to settle for Lamar since Charlotte nabbed him for the 3rd pick. BD was actually pretty vocal about staying local before the draft but Charlotte took him anyway. Here is the video after he was picked. I'm a big believer in Bledsoe. I think his upside is huge. He really has the potential to be a Rondo/Tony Parker hybrid. Here's a cool tweet from Suns player Jared Dudley the other day: "Just got done hoopin'!! We took the series, @EBled24 ran the show, His speed and athleticism was a problem .. His potential is scary!!!"

^ I liked Q-Rich's game but I really thought he shot too much. The offense needed to run through EB and Corey more. I was mad as hell when we traded down and picked another unproven point guard twig who couldn't shoot. <_< Anyway, I do believe that these players careers would have been different had the Clippers not trade for Andre Miller. If the Clippers stuck with J-Mac (Jeff McInnis) as their starting PG (who was not that bad in '02), and kept Miles on the roster, the Clippers would have made the playoffs. I remember, that was the same summer that the Clippers were offerred a much younger Baron Davis for Lamar Odom. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that, though. Had that trade went down, this is what our roster would have looked like in 02-03: C- Kandi PF- Elton Brand / Chris Wilcox SF- Corey Maggette / Darius Miles SG- Quentin Richardson / Eric Piatkowski PG- Baron Davis That would have been beasty!

Yeah, Aminu's got some great tools, but does need a lot of refining. I dont think he'll be great but could be a pretty decent backup PG. I see Bledsoe eventually becoming a starting PG. Aminu will improve though. Anything he does on the court will be more than what Gomes did.

It's between Bledsloe and Aminu. Bledsoe van be a really good backup point guard, but he's got a big ego that gets in the way of things. And I think Kentucky and Calipari's system of letting the players do their thing, might have corrupted him. Especially as a point guard. Aminu, on the other hand, has all the physical tools, but he's lost out on the court. He doesn't have the natural basketball instincts and he is four years away from contributing.
