I hear you! I find it difficult posting on other sites too. Even so, I try and post on other sites like at least twice a week with the sole purpose to promote OTR. A few years ago, on that Clippers forum, I kinda got carried away on purpose and put OTR everywhere I can in my profile info: http://i.imgur.com/wZFim.jpg ^ Their admin eventually warned me and threatenedto ban me for 'promoting too much'. I'm sure RD remembers that. Karma bit them hard and their site doesn't exist any more.

Other Serbian players? Sure -- how about Peja? Only that I consider him the best Serbian player since Drazen Petrovic. He isn't anywhere near overrated. In case you meant 'other Serbian players that could be considered overrated' -- I'm sorry but my name's not exactly Slaven and I don't really follow Serbian basketball that much. Back on topic -- being a scrub now doesn't mean you weren't overrated in the past. Marko Jaric was overrated in the past, before people saw his potential. And honestly, Vlade has to be the most overrated Serbian NBA player. I mean he was in the trade that sent Kobe to the Lakers. Looking back at the staff, folks have come and gone but Smitty is the only one left from the original (2005-'06) Global Moderator Team (All Forums). I thought it'd be appropriate to consider making him an Administrator. With ALCS away, officially there's only one admin now (GamerGuy) and he's doing a great job, but I thought it'd be good to go back to the two official admins format (I also realize that appart from being the owner, Real Deal is also unofficially an admin). Just a suggestion. Would appreciate your thoughts on it.

Clippers waive Courtney Fortson and Chris Johnson The Clippers announced this morning that they have waived guard Courtney Fortson and forward Chris Johnson, two training camp signees. That reduces the current roster to 18 players. When the team signed five players for camp, it was a given that none of them had much hope of making the team. After all, the team already had the maximum 15 players under contract. In order to keep any of the invitees, they would have to waive a player under contract. So it's no surprise that the ax is starting to fall. I guess it's a shame for these two that they don't get to accompany the team to China, which could turn out to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Then again, you can also see it from the team's perspective -- why take extra bodies across the Pacific for no reason. It is a little surprising that Fortson was one of the first cuts, given that he was on his second tour in Clippers camp, and actually got a few regular season emergency minutes both with the Clippers and with the Rockets last season. Clearly rookie Hank Thorns, who played spot minutes in the preseason game in Las Vegas Saturday night, beat out Fortson as the "camp" point guard. The Clippers now have three camp invitees -- Thorns, Marqus Blakely and Trent Plaisted -- still on the roster. That' a point guard, a wing and a big. Neither Thorns nor Plaisted has any hope of eventually making the team. Blakely might have the slimmest of chances to usurp Travis Leslie as the project wing athlete -- but probably not. Neither Blakely nor Plaisted played in the exhibition opener, but neither did Leslie. Source
