^ That's your point of view. I respect that. I am referring to his 4th-quarter struggles. After Chauncey went down, he started taking dumb decisions in crunchtime: - like in that road game we lost to the Warriors - sure, DeAndre got owned by Ekpe Udoh, but we had the lead and the game in our hands, with less than a minute left, and CP3 BLEW that crucial possession, and that cost us the game. Man, he went for a floater or whatever against a 7-footer. Of course he'd get his ass blocked. You don't have to be a NBA analyst to figure that out.. <_< - I also blame CP3 for that ugly loss in Nawleans; - And his game-winner in Philly was a must, as he had made a terrible turnover a few possessions earlier, and he kinda redeemed for it (similar to the way Chauncey made up for his turnover by burying the game-winner in the game vs. Dallas); There were some other examples of struggles I don't recall right now. Anyhow, I understand he felt pressure, and everyone was fine with him taking the last shot, but I think things would've went better if he tried and looked for ANY other teammate - at times you had Butler, Mo Williams and Foye ALL on the floor. Still I give CP3 the props and credit for it BUT saying CP3 was 'sensational' and 'amazing' 'is clearly an overstatement. CP3 was NOT amazing last season... Then again we seem to have different standards. And I'm Ok with that.

I really do feel like Bynum and Jrue are the better duo and, come to think about it, I admit it's because I firmly think the Clippers underachieve. That's why I gave you a well-deserved +1 (Rep). I'm not trashing CP3 and Griffin just out of anger, though. After what I saw last season, I'm having trouble putting 'CP3' and 'outstanding' in the same line. And VDN doesn't really have THAT MUCH to do with CP3's struggles. There's this 'Let's trash Jrue!' trend. I mean, I agree CP3 and Jrue ain't exactly on the same level... but doods is overrating CP3 and underrating Jrue way too much. That makes up for a certain distortion here.

I really respect your opinion. And everyone else's opinion. Your posts are one of the main reasons why I come back around. So with all due respect, there's no need to call me 'retarded', son. The latter for sure.

Naw, that's Starbury.

I'm aware of that, Smitty-lac, son. 'never turns the ball over'... I'm sorry but I stopped reading after that one phrase. I never said that 'Holiday is an elite closer in the league but Paul isn't'. And this: ^ I made that comment in February.. I was kinda mild back then. I'm harsh now. Oh and, please stop taking words out of your ass and trying to put them into other people's mouths. Thanks. And why do have to exaggarate like that? I mean 'bash'? C'mon! I ain't really 'bashing' on anyone. I'm just NOT being a homer. It's different. About 15. One thing? I can name two (rectangled in red): http://i.imgur.com/LdarM.png Ok, I agree that Paul chokes roughly as much as Jrue. You got me. Difference of opinion, buddy. I don't find the gap between Paul and Holiday 'colossal'. Plus, Bynum is much more experienced that the Floppinator. So I still think the Sixers duo will own Paul & Griffin in Philly (at least, and maybe in L.A. too). Guys, Chris Paul is NOT the best closer in the game. He'll have to prove me a LOT this season.

Bobcats to add Adrien, Horne, Owens, Summers to roster for training camp by Rick Bonnell http://i.imgur.com/84Ukt.jpg With less than two weeks until the Charlotte Bobcats open training camp at UNC Asheville, the team is firming up commitments for some extra players for camp. Look for Jeff Adrien (Connecticut), Paris Horne (St. John’s), Josh Owens (Stanford) and DaJuan Summers (Georgetown) to be added to the roster. The Bobcats plan to bring 17 or more players to new coach Mike Dunlap’s first training camp. Horne and Owens were both on the Bobcats’ summer-league team in Las Vegas. Adrien and Summers both have NBA experience. Some background: • Adrien, a 6-7 forward, has spent part of the last two seasons in the NBA. He played 23 games with the Golden State Warriors in 2010-11 and eight games with the Houston Rockets last season. He averaged less than nine minutes in both situations, but seems to be a good rebounder per minutes played: Double-digit boards per 36 minutes. • Horne, a 6-3 guard, played professionally in Germany last season. He’s the only backcourt player of the four. • Owens, a 6-8 forward, averaged 11.6 points his senior season at Stanford. Over his four college seasons, he shot 57 percent from the field, but just 62 percent from the foul line. • Summers, a 6-8 forward, has played 81 total NBA games over the past three seasons – the first two with the Detroit Pistons (who chose him in the second round) and last season with the New Orleans Hornets. He hasn’t shot well in the NBA (39 percent career), but he has some of the rugged qualities the Bobcats need in the frontcourt. Source

Brian Cook returns on make-good deal By Michael Lee Brian Cook wasn’t excited about the prospect of joining the Wizards when the Los Angeles Clippers traded him last March. He sought a buyout before deciding to stick around for the rest of the season, but has re-signed with the Washington Wizards on a non-guaranteed, training camp deal. Cook received interest from “three or four other teams,” Bartlestein said, “but he really felt good about the way things finished up with the Wizards. He really enjoyed playing for [Coach Randy Wittman] and with the guys on the team and they kind of expressed the same thing to him. And as we were looking at different things, he wanted to go back. He had a comfort level. He’s back and hopefully, it will work out great.” The Wizards will enter camp with 18 players and one available roster spot for the regular season. Cook, big men Shavlik Randolph and Earl Barron, and point guard Steven Gray all signed training camp deals and Shelvin Mack has a partially guaranteed-contract. Source

Jeremy Lin begins workouts Updated: September 18, 2012, 6:00 PM ET HOUSTON -- Jeremy Lin is finally getting his own bed. The 6-foot-3 point guard, who became an international phenomenon during one dazzling month with the Knicks last season, went through his first workout with the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. Naturally, he drew a horde of media to the Toyota Center, evidence that Linsanity has plenty of life left in it. "I don't know if I'm the face of the franchise just yet," Lin said. "I think we're a young team and we're all going to buy in. The thing about us is it's not going to be any one person that's going to carry us to where we want to go, it's going to be everybody. I think it's so early on, I'm just trying to get to know the guys." Lin was waived by the Rockets last December, then picked up by the Knicks. He was hesitant to buy a home and slept on teammate Landry Fields' couch the night before his breakout game against New Jersey on Feb. 4. Lin signed a three-year, $25 million contract with Houston over the summer. He arrived on Monday -- but first asked teammate Chandler Parsons if he could "crash" on his couch until he bought furniture. He finally feels secure enough to settle down. "I've got to get that bed in there, so I can sleep well tonight," Lin said. The Rockets acquired Lin over the summer by outmaneuvering the Knicks in free agency. Full Story

Yeah, that kinda raised a question - what's the record for highest Rep count ever (on a message board)?? Googled it and found nothing.
