  1. Sorry Warriors fans but..

Warriors forward David Lee needs surgery after an infection developed in a cut on his left elbow.

Lee flew back to Oakland from the team's road trip to undergo the procedure on Friday night.

He cut the inside of his left elbow in a nasty collision Wednesday with New York's Wilson Chandler, who lost teeth on the play and left a fragment of a tooth in Lee's arm

  3. to add more to the Melo drama..

The Nuggets believe the deal with New Jersey gives them maximum value for Anthony, but they still engaged the Knicks on Saturday in discussions that included Danilo Gallinari(notes), Anthony Randolph(notes) and Toney Douglas(notes), sources said. The Knicks were working to pry draft picks to use in a deal for Anthony, and sources said they had talks with the Houston Rockets, who obtained New York’s 2012 first-rounder to clear cap space in a February deadline deal.

  4. wtf? That sounds like a terrible class.

lol yea he loves the idea of learning and this is his way of making us learn.

    2nd Day = Bad

The FRL (Finance, Real Estate, and Law, yep business major) class im signed up for switched my professors. When I got to class I thought I was in the wrong building or something because I asked someone next to me what room # it was and it was the right one. Professor takes role and i'm on it, but wtf? why do I have a different professor. After class he hurries out and I go and ask him why and he just tells me if i'm on his role sheet then i'm good. Then I head off to my history class (boring as hell), but I forgot that he assigned everyone into groups for a project and I rushed out to go ask ihm the question so I didn't get anyones contact. Hopefully they come to me or sit in the same spot cause I don't remember what they look like -_-. Went on the school site, logged in into my account and there he was on my schedule.. last minute change

And I bought my girl the new Linkin Park album (her favorite band..), but she gave me an obvious fake look, she didn't like it or something so I just blew 15 bucks...

K i'm done ranting about my crappy day >: O and lol @ sacha

  5. MIAMI (AP)—The Miami Heat have decided not to offer a contract to free agent center Erick Dampier(notes), who worked out for the team earlier this week.

Heat president Pat Riley said the team was intrigued by the possibility of adding the 35-year-old Dampier, who has spent the past 14 seasons in the league. Dampier played the last six seasons in Dallas, and was the Mavericks’ starter when that team lost to Miami in the 2006 NBA finals.

Heat not signing Dampier because they already got 4 centers. Houston bound?

  6. I use Open Office and yes it can open Word documents. Its pretty good imo only problem is you have to tweek the settings a bit for like 1 inch margins and stuff. Also I'm pretty sure theres no way to put a header on it like on Word, you know the Last Name Page # at the top right unless I haven't figured it out .

  7. Don Nelson has been pushed out as Golden State Warriors coach and replaced with assistant Keith Smart, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Nelson, the all-time winningest coach in NBA history, will officially resign and accept a settlement on the $6 million owed him on his contract.

New Warriors owner Joe Lacob was determined to replace Nelson as coach, and Nelson, sources said, was glad to take his money and return to retirement in Hawaii.

  8. Lose-Lose trade IMO.

Chicago loses Deng's contract and get Melo which is great but they also lose Noah. Who would their starting center be? Kurt Thomas? They would be at a major height disadvantage against most teams and would probably have a hard time with teams with star bigs. Better to keep Noah's energy and defense. Rose and Boozer can each give them their 20 ppg and Deng would be a nice 3rd scoring option. They would have a better overall team sticking to what they have now.

Weren't the Nuggets offered Harris + Favors + Draft Picks for Melo? Way better offer then Noah + Deng. Sure they would end up with 3 PGs but one could be easily traded. Trading for Noah would be nice, but they also get Deng's contract. Losing a franchise player pretty much means you aren't getting that championship anytime soon. They would just end up being a playoff team for a couple years then head down to the lottery crowd. Why not just skip all that and build for the future now ^_^
