  1. Nintendo had a great showing today. The showcase of games for the 3DS and Cafe has me really pumped for the coming years.
  2. So JVG and Mark Jackson like to argue about this throughout the broadcast. I am not talking about flops where there is actually contact and it is overblown. I am talking about plays where the ref can't see and the player just falls down to get a call. If you are confused about what I am referring to, I mean in plays like the gif where Boozer turns to Bosh and Bosh falls down without being touched. There was a similar play in Game 3 where Dwyane Wade got a loose ball foul called on Jason Kidd just by acting like he was being shot while in air, while Kidd didn't have a hand on him. The ref couldn't see what was going on, so he had to make a call based on the way Wade contorted his body. I think shit like that makes the game awful to watch. I want to watch a basketball game, not people trying to do shit to get to the line the whole time. Mark Jackson thinks this is just good selling and the players are smart. I personally think it is making the game of basketball worse as a whole, and it makes me want to stop watching. A player should be punished for pulling crap like this, as JVG has said.
  3. already have it on webos, and to be honest, I never use it. to each his own though, you might enjoy it. I just find it more of a hassle then plugging in(mainly since it charges at the same time). The notification center is also done better in webos, but I do like what they're doing with it in iOS. If I was an iOS user I'd be excited
  4. MS with yet another shitty E3 conference. Their only hope is that Sony gets hacked during theirs
  5. Message Center looks cool, but other than that, they really didn't do anything special
  6. I heard Lebron James is gonna be in Space Jam 2! Half way through the movie he holds a press conference and abandons Bugs Bunny and the Toon Squad to play for the Monstars where he thinks he has a better chance of winning.
  7. keep bringing up Kobe, he has so much to do with this thread. you're amazing when you're mad
  8. woah lets bring up something totally unrelated because you have no excuse for wade's weakass flopping
  9. right but he rolled around on the floor like he had been shot. if he was hurt I don't have a problem if he doesn't run down the court, but don't act like you've been seriously hurt or something.
  10. ok so kidd did poke him in the eye, but is that a good enough reason to fall to the floor and cry?
  11. damn, thats awful. best wishes to your family

  13. oh hells yeah. just gotta change my euro password now!
  14. sorry that I was looking forward to a decent selection of free movies over some games that I already have/don't care for...
  15. Roger Federer takes on the defending French Open Champion Rafael Nadal tomorrow morning at 9AM EST on NBC in the French Open Final. This match-up pits the greatest player of all time against his arch-rival Rafael Nadal. Facts: Nadal has the lead in the rivalry with a 16-8 record Their match in the 2008 Wimbledon Final is seen as the greatest match of all time Nadal has only lost once at the French Open and has 5 titles there Federer has NEVER beat Nadal at the French, his only title coming in 09 when Nadal wasn't in the final Hopefully its a good match
  16. good luck and get well soon. we'll hold down the fort
  17. Put it this way: The one your mom is looking at is severely overpriced. It isn't a terrible machine, but at that price I couldn't recommend it. The Vaio posted is a solid option. However, I would go for this Acer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215084 It has an i5 and for that price it is hard to go wrong. I would recommend getting the 2 year extended warranty as Acer's warranty service is hit or miss. Some people have no complaints, some people have tons of complaints. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
