I don't think not having LP is going to stop people from watching every game
-
for the game status, i'm just not sure if its worth any effort. I'm sure it something could be coded based on time(for example, it will change to during game at 7:30, post game at 10:30), but it would take a lot of work for Brandon to not only do that and then go back and set the time for EACH game. i don't see benefit either. keep the ideas coming though

I think Orlando is bigger in the tourism industry, but the Magic aren't having problems. Hell, they just opened a new arena. There is tons of [expletive] to do in LA, but the Dodgers, Angels, and Lakers have no problems selling out. During the playoffs, its a big deal to people that they have to choose between which game they are going to go to since you can't be in two places at once. If the Dolphins were in the playoffs and the Heat were playing the Lakers in Miami, fans would rather go clubbing than go to EITHER game.
-
The Heat won a title, there is no reason why they didn't sell out last year either as a playoff team. Fans in Miami just suck for EVERY sport. Marlins win two titles, no one cares. Dolphins are good, no one goes. No one goes to Hurricanes games. Sorry that you were raised in a crappy sports town.

Pacers vs. Spurs Post-Game Thoughts
Lkr replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Indiana Pacers Team Forum
I do know what you mean. However, I would think of a game like this as a moral victory if I was a fan of the Pacers. It shows that the team has made great improvements, and the only mistakes they are making are those that come with youth - turnovers and mistakes late in a game. In the next game against San Antonio, I wouldn't be surprised if the Pacers pulled it out, since the team will have gained more experience over the course of the season. -
Pacers vs. Spurs Post-Game Thoughts
Lkr replied to The Lone Granger's topic in Indiana Pacers Team Forum
Don't feel too bad about the loss, it is impressive enough that the young Pacers put up over 100 points on the Spurs in the first place! -
Captain Hindsight does a better job of explaining the spill

Guys, I need your help to record NBA games
Lkr replied to Erick Blasco's topic in Off-Topic Discussion Forum
is everything working fine for you? -
Two playoff teams from last year that are trying to find their identity. Both have big(no pun intended) losses with Boozer and Stoudemire moving east. Two of the premiere point guards in the league going at it, could be a high scoring game. I think Utah will edge out Phoenix in their home opener.

Opening of the Amway Center and John Wall's debut. I think the Magic will win this game, but I hope to see some promising play from Wall

People always try to write us off in the off-season, but there is nothing to discuss during the off-season other than NFL and MLB. NBA season starts and our activity is crazy high(we would be even higher if we didn't lose our two biggest threads do to the server mishap. We had 2000 views on the Heat/Celtics game!)

Reason why Rondo is not wearing his headband
Lkr replied to magicbalala245's topic in Boston Celtics Team Forum
stupid rule, even stupider reason not to wear it. what difference does it make to either side?
