hdmi cables are all the same unless they're 50 feet long or more. the reason they are $40 is to trick the average joe into buying it and getting ripped off.

Who's talking [expletive]? There is a difference with playing around and talking [expletive]. When I said I don't know how you guys do it, I wasn't trying to talk [expletive] if you interpreted it that way, I'm just amazed you guys are able to do it.

standard 360 was 20GB 40GB new isn't manufactured anymore, 80GB just got price dropped. only difference is hard drive space, although, the 40GB when it was around did NOT come with a dualshock 3, only sixaxis. The 80GB DOES and the slim WILL come with dualshock 3. ps3 only comes with composite cables(lol wut), so you should order an hdmi cable off of monoprice before you buy it since that will take 3-5 days to arrive.

If you're connected wireless with PS3, its slow as balls. Just a warning :s

MS will fix it for free, better than getting ripped off by Gamestop. and you won't get anything for cables, they expect that with it.

Gamestop gives like $10 per game at most...I hope you know that. PS3s are now $299 btw

send it in, you get a refurb, its the luck of the draw. consider yourself lucky its only been 3 times.
