80% of our fan base is band wagoners? Haha, ok.
Before the Celtics acquired the Big 3, Boston fans were chanting MVP for Kobe, at the Garden. I'd bet my house that you would NEVER, ever, hear Laker fans chant MVP for an opposing player, especially if it was Celtic player.
You're bringing out the big guns out too soon. You should have waited for celtic fans bashing the lakers about fan loyalty then you say that. Hahaha. But yeah, i respect some of the Celtic fans who stuck with their teams in their irrelevant years. What makes me sick is the bandwagons who talks a lot of shit when in the first place they were nowhere near the Celtics when they were basically a scrub team. Pathetic fans

Ah that's awesome. I met him once in Toronto and he seemed really nice.
I have almost everything from him. A worn jersey, a autographed picture, some gloves and a hockey stick all that shit. too bad hockey items aren't as valuable in my country. He's really down to earth, overall a good guy.
-
I'm not surprised. Lakers fans aren't that loyal. Where were these guys in the 90s, NOWHERE! After Shaq left, they disbanded and came back when they got Gasol. They just bunch of band wagoners. True fans are fans of Warriors.
on your first 2 sentences i agree and disagree. Don't generalize too much, there are some real loyal Laker fans who stuck up with them even in the 90's. who got worried about Kobe raping some white chick, got worried about Kobe asking for a trade.. I agree partly becausei believe 60% of our fanbase are bandwagons.

John LeClaire used to be the SHIT!

my aunt used to be the cook of saku koivu. He's a great guy, sucks he got traded.
-
in his early years, i actually like him because when he was a heel, WWE gave him a lot of freedom and space to be creative in his promos. now that he's the face of WWE, he's been sort of limited since he has to please the crowd and all that stuff.
-
i think it's more like what they did in WEC. They let them run things a bit then eventually absorb them.
Big Foot Silva/Fedor VS Brock
Overeem VS Cain
you add in diaz, mousasi, hendo
man, UFC is getting deeper and deeper. And by all means necessary cut Josh Barnett.

Well if the 3 Heat learn how to balance their offense and Bosh decides to man up and play some tenacious D. A prime Shaq and a prime Kobe is an easy pick.
-
Not saying anything we don't already know about Chris this season. However, as I continue to watch him he is becoming more aggressive little by little down the stretch. I think it has a lot to do with him just finding a way to fit in to our offense. When he's aggressive and playing like a true big, then like Coach Nick said, we're near unstoppable.
Lost a lot of respect when Bosh decided to do the KG act. Shouting and all that shit, well at least KG had toughness in him. He was pretty polite til he came to Miami and decided to talk shit to players. Trying to act tough when clearly he's softer than a pudding.
Miami needs a defensive anchor and that's it, expect them to win 4 or more rings. But without a solid defensive anchor, with Bosh on the inside, it's going to be a tough time for Miami to win playoff games

"MJ never had a Shaquille O'neal on his team"
Kobe never had a Scottie Pippen on his team either. During his younger days, his main task is to defend the other team's markee wing player. He spends half if not more than his half of his energy running through screens and defending the other team's best scorer(wing man). Having Shaq is great, but don't you guys discount having one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA that can give you an instant 20-7-6-3-1 a night is also great.
And please don't tell me Shaq carried Kobe's ass in their Laker 3peat for Kobe did his part pretty damn well. Game 2 he locked down Reggie Miller in the 2k finals, game 4 he came in injured, took over the game in the last remaining minutes when Shaq fouled out. 2001 he was almost as dominating as Shaq was, same thing with 2002. Without Kobe, Shaq won't be having those 3 rings that he has. (let's not talk about the 04 finals tho )
It's just sad how people disregard how great Kobe is. Offensively, Kobe is slightly better than MJ.. but the rest is all MJ.
Jordan is and will always be GOAT because he had everything for him. He has the accolades, the rings, and more significantly, he's the face of basketball. There's no denying that. The timing of Jordan's emergence couldn't have been more perfect when Magic and Bird were declining, the only logical thing to do is make Jordan the face of the NBA. NBA needed another marketing subject outside Bird and Magic.. thenJordan(he earned it) came in. Yes he was famous when Magic and Bird were on their prime but when they started to decline.. That's all the push Jordan needed to become the face of NBA. Lack of a better wing players outside his teammate Pippen, Drexler, Wilkins, Kevin Johnson(to name a few) also helped his case.

Refs were basically like them WWE refs..
but yeah, they could've routed the heat in the 3rd when we were about to surge after fish hit those 3's. But turnovers, lack of rebounding and defensive lapses really cost us the game. Refs are and will always be [expletive]ing retards, but they just have to play through it.

I don't think you win with a player like David West, unless, like mentioned before, you have a big like Dwight alongside him.
exactly, you don't want a big man who's a liability on defense when you don't have a monster anchoring your defense.
-
Pro-Kobe, granpa told me to follow this kid when he was 16 before he died. As a family that's been raised into liking the Lakers, i can safely say i'm more of a kobe fan than a laker fan
-
If they get Dwight, all of his problems with defense would be covered up.
then what happens to brooke?
-
-
you guys want David West? Sure he'd compliment Brooke Lopez and Deron, but he's probably one of the worst low post defender in the league today
Amare: Pau is still soft

Hey Amar'e, at least a one legged Pau Gasol is still a better defender than you'll ever be.
