      Deron is playing like hot garbage, but there's more reason to believe he'll get things figured out than to believe that Avery will ever install a competent offense.

      In many ways, yes. But if you want to look at it that way, the blame goes to Avery. Deron can be looked at independently and criticized for not being himself in situations that are unrelated to the coaching. But it would do wonders for Deron if he were playing in a reasonable system.

    No official announcement thus far. Word has it that they'll be wearing various jerseys next year, hardwood classics and all, but the Brooklyn jerseys will probably be unveiled midway next season.
