  1. 1) Celtics (Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Sheed, Finley, Rondo)

    2) Cavaliers (Shaq, LeBron, Jamison, Ilgauskas, Williams)

    3) Lakers (Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Odom, Bynum, Fisher)

    4) Mavericks (Dirk, Kidd, Terry, Marion, Butler)

4b) Spurs (Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Jefferson, McDyess)

I actually think it's a tough call for the #2 and #3, honestly, because Artest was mean in his prime, and we all know how fierce Bryant was (hell, he was an MVP player this season, before injury), but I don't think anyone can topple a Boston team if they were all in their primes. Sheed was one of the best power forwards in the league when he wanted to be, Garnett is a top five power forward of all-time because of what he did in his prime, Allen is one of the greatest shooters ever, we know where Pierce ranks among the all-time Celtic players, and Finley was a mess for defenders in his prime.

Good post, I would probably fit the Magic in there somewhere.

    Nelson, Carter, Lewis, Howard, Williams

  2. lakers shoot .1 percent worse and make 2 more FGs. lose by 21. what a [expletive]ing joke

Thunder had seven more rebounds, four more steals, three more blocks, and three less turnovers.

There were 30 fouls called on the Lakers, and 23 on the Thunder. In game 2, there were 30 fouls called on the Thunder, and 26 on the Lakers. Despite that, the Thunder had one more free throw attempt. Once again, the difference was that the Lakers committed many shooting fouls.

  3. No one is arguing that. I'm just confused what your intentions were when you made this thread.

To me it seems like you're trying to show Kobe shoots well when he takes a lot of shot attempts, but that really isn't the case. You left out games he shot over 30 shots (on purpose?), and didn't include games he shot 20-24 shots, which is still a lot of attempts.

  4. Why not include games he shot over 30 shots?

Kobe shot over 46% in around 38.5% of games where he shot 20-24 shots.

Kobe shot over 46% in around 66% of games where he shot over 25 shots. But only 25% of those games were against teams with over 50 wins. 41.6% of those games were against teams with over 45 wins.
