Tyreke Suffers Concussion, Possibly Broken Jaw

Recommended Posts

Tyreke Evans left Friday's game late in the fourth quarter as the Milwaukee Bucks rallied for a 114-108 double-overtime win.

Evans sustained a concussion in a fall and went to the locker room with 24.4 seconds left in regulation and the Kings ahead 91-89.

Evans also had lacerated gums and a chipped tooth, and doctors will check to see whether he has a broken jaw. Evans will not travel with the team to Los Angeles for Sunday afternoon's game against the Clippers.

Tyreke Evans out Sunday w/ slight concussion

Tyreke Evans has a slight concussion and will be re-evaluated on Monday. He will not play vs. the Clippers on Sunday.

The X-rays and a CAT scan came back negative, but it doesn't sound like we'll get another update until Monday -- according to a text message from his brother, Evans will miss at least one week with a bruised jaw. In the meantime, Beno Udrih is a quality fantasy option.
