I slept through this game, when I woke up it's 3-0 with 5 mins to go. I had my doubts about Brazil I guess I wouldn't have anymore. Most importantly, Brazil on one side of the bracket, and... Multi-Billionaire Posted June 28, 2010 Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 ^I will bet my money on anyone betting vs. Argentina not reaching the Finals... - Germany has been great but largely due to weak-average opponents like Australia, Ghana and a not-so-cohesive England team that was demoralized by a disallowed goal. Their defense can get frustrated/ impatient when they faced Serbia, Klose got sent off and they couldn't match up with the supposedly inferior Serbia team losing 0-1. In contrast, Switzerland once played with 10 men and still held Honduras to 0 goal. I don't think their defense can hold off Messi, Higuain and Tevez. And they had so much roaming space on offense vs. England... I don't think they will find much vs. Argentina. Without slight to Germany, this should be a pretty easy win for Argentina imo... 3-1. - Spain has been great largely due to Villa who's been sensational. But Torres has yet to show up. If Spain has to keep relying on Villa to carry the offense and everyone else chipping in, I don't think they can match up with Argentina who have players capable of scoring. Messi and Milito are still scoreless, but unlike Torres, Messi creates so many opportunities for his teammates... and remains very dangerous. Milito can break his slump any moment...
