Force
Uruguay got me hopes up after that goal..damn. Â Real happy for Uruguay for getting this far. Holand was easily the better team, but their heart, will, and force almost got them the tie, and got them this far.
AllenIverson#1fan
Nope, but Id rather us Europeans win it then South Americans, hehe.Who says "hehe"? It's gay.

Multi-Billionaire
Won $35  But I put $740 on the bet ($775 return) Forlan ruined everything for me... had it been 1-0 Netherlands at half time, I'da won $400 more. Why can'tttt you score in the sec halfff????????  Uruguay has been great though... they're my second-third lucky team after Netherlands and Argentina. xx.
The first goal by Netherlands honestly could easily be the best goal this entire world cup so far
Cobb
I can't even imagine how the game would've turned out if Suarez had been playing. Netherlands is still undefeated in the tournament however I think that will come to an end when the meet Spain/Germany. YugoRocketsFan
So happy the Dutch won, this means the World Cup is definitely going to Europe for a 2nd straight team, Europeans ftw.

The Regime
Uruguay's goalie just froze on that last two goals by Netherlands, he could have prevented both goals easily had he put forth the effort. I'll be pulling for the Dutch regardless of who they play the rest of the way.

Netherlands was and is the better team, they would have won either way. Uruguay's goalie just froze on that last two goals by Netherlands, he could have prevented both goals easily had he put forth the effort. I'll be pulling for the Dutch regardless of who they play the rest of the way.The header by Robben, the goalie stood there but even if he dove, he had absolutely no change. Also the other goal by Sneijder led the goalie going toward his intention first but the deflection changed everything causing him to change direction last second. He couldn't have done anything.  The first goal by Forlan should have never went in, even though it was a really nice shot.

xx.
Messi sucks when he isn't playing with his club team. It's been know for a while.LOL.... even though Messi didnt score a goal this game, he still showed he was clearly the best player in the world. The ball literally sticks to his foot when he dribbles it. Also, almost all their goals came from his action (a rebound off his shot or his assist). You have no idea what you're talking about, seriously. Edited July 7, 2010 by xx.
YugoRocketsFan
Messi sucks when he isn't playing with his club team. It's been know for a while. Its not that he sucks, its just that he doesnt get the same looks that Xavi and Iniesta get him on Barcelona. Argentina is pretty much a team made of forwards, not mids, defenders or keepers. Without Riquelme, Zanetti, Cambiasso, and Abondanzieri they arent as dangerous. xx.
Just stop.. you dont even know the game. Only direct assists go on the stat sheet, and stat sheets are not relevant in soccer on how one can play. I can think of numerous times in my head where he hit the post and someone was there to just tap in a goal from his shot, or off a rebound. He is the most dominant player in the world when it comes to controlling the game himself, his dribbling skills and passes are unreal. Edited July 7, 2010 by xx.
