The forward declined the opportunity to take part in Team USA's minicamp July 22-25 in Las Vegas. Davis opted not to participate due to his unresolved contract status, while Boston teammates Rajon Rondo and Kendrick Perkins also declined invites. "He's not going to go," said Davis's agent, John Hamilton. "We thought about it and thought about it. We need to err on the side of caution.
