Damn it, I missed all but the last 40 seconds of this game. I was really looking forward to watching it but had a lot of errands to run today before I got home. I could have sworn that McCoughtry's last shot was going to go in to send the game into overtime.

Yea, she had a great look at that. IIRC it's the second time she failed to hit the game tying/winning shot this series. One of the Miller sisters also had good opportunity.

Overall though, I'm very surprised at how well they played. All 3 games could have gone either way. Once again, great effort from their team and their coach Maynell Meathers.

I couldn't tell which Miller sister it was, I assumed it was Coco as I think she's the one that plays more often than Kelly.

Also, I think she missed a game tying/winning shot in the first game after Sue hit the mid range jumper to give the Storm the lead.

Both sisters were in the game at the time. One sis got the offensive rebound and passed to the other, who obviously tried to tie it with the three. You're right, though. Coco took the shot. Come to think of it, it would have made an interesting ending if the twins managed to get the team back in the game.

The first game was a game winning attempt from McCoughtry with a three when they were down two (79 - 77).

Second game, Cash was at the free throw line with the Storm up three points (87 - 84). She missed both free throws, Sancho Lyttle grabbed the board (with no TOs left), and threw it to Kelly Miller at half court who didn't even have time to heave a shot since time already expired.

And yea, third game you already know. Down three (87 - 84... again) McCoughtry misses another big three to send the game to overtime, but Kelly grabs the offensive boards, and chucks it to her sister who misses the game tying three.

McCoughtry has proven to be a tremendous player during the post season averaging 25 ppg in 30 mpg. She's only a second year pro at 24 years old, though. She'll have more opportunities in the future.
