What Should The Cavs Address

Recommended Posts

Kyrie Irving or Brandon Knight has got to be our number one goal. We got Baron Davis, and during the Cavs/Wiz game last night, the commentators were saying how Baron has looked forward to being a tutor to young players and wasn't asked of that as a Clipper.

It's the perfect storm. Davis can tutor him, Gibson and Sessions can play shooting guard/back up point guard to complement him, and most of all, Byron Scott can coach him up just like he did with Baron, Jason Kidd, and Chris Paul.

Next, we need to get one or two forwards and one more big man either in FA or the draft.

Guys who I think need to stay on this team are: Baron, Ramon, Boobie, Hollins, Eyenga, Hickson, and Varejao.

Do the Rip + Pistons 2011 first deal.

If the picks don't move around in the lottery than you're looking at the 1st, 7th and 8th picks. If this were to happen then I would advise against picking Kyrie Irving number one and instead opt for Harrison Barnes or Derrick Williams because solid point guards like Kemba Walker and Brandon Knight will be available at your next picks. Pick either one and then follow it up with Enes Kanter.

What deal are you talking about?
