OTR Hall of Fame Jerseys?

Yeah that's why you have to have a limited amount of people going into the HOF.

My criteria:

3 years

12k posts

OTR members vote for 5-7 members to be nominees

OTR HOF'ers select 3 member to be inducted into the HOF

HOF'ers get there member name put on the back of there rep team jersey and inducted into the HOF section.

I don't even think that we should even have a criteria for it. The members deserving of a HOF induction will get the majority of the nominations anyways.

I believe we should have some criteria, just to make it harder to get in.

I think it would be neat if a member could have their jersey retired in their favorite team's forum, and that could be separate from the Hall of Fame, which relates to overall posting.

As for the selection process, maybe set up a group of five members and conduct the voting similarly to the baseball HOF? Voting could occur at the same time as member awards.

Except there's some guys who switch teams.

Post count is an extremely dumb criteria to judge a member off of imo. I don't think there needs to be any concrete criteria it should all be up the the judges/

Those that weren't handed more posts, or didn't have their dates changed...it didn't happen because I had no proof of what you guys had before the hack. Using those archives, most of the members had profiles, or were shown in topics, or shown on friends' lists (with post counts), so it was necessary. To be fair, I can't just take anyone's word for it.

If you guys can find your old profile, or something with your post count on it (or date joined), by using the web archive site...

Oh man I loved that layout/skin.

And yeah, I agree with the criteria thing and there should be judges/nominations for the HOF.

I see where you are coming from but you have to have some guidelines on getting in. You cant just say oh hes a good member that posts well we should put him in. I see post count as a goal in a way for those who haven't been around for 5 years, but i also think exceptions should be made if the guys has been active for a good chunk of time consistently.

After some more thought here is my new criteria:

Must have for nomination:

3 years & 12k posts

or

5 years & 6k posts

OTR members vote for 5-7 members to be nominees

OTR HOF'ers select 3 members to be inducted into the HOF

HOF'ers get there member name put on the back of there rep team jersey and inducted into the HOF section.

Hows that sound? Legit?

But i know I have more because I believe we had another forum before moving to a different server I can easily remember I had like 10,000 posts and I been here for 6 years or something.

Nah I think there would be more buzz about the induction if everyone was eligible.

Agreed.

Zee what you think about the criteria I put up 3 post up?

Like I said before, I prefer it if there was no criteria at all.
