Kanter will join Hedo Turkoglu (Orlando), Omer Asik (Chicago), Semih Erden (Cleveland) and Ersan Ilyasova (Milwaukee) on the team. The tournament is scheduled August 31-September 18 in Lithuania. If Kanter plays, it could mark his first significant 5-on-5 action in more than a year. Jazz center Mehmet Okur is not listed on Turkey's roster. http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/blogsjazznotes/52134096-62/kanter-jazz-roster-turkey.html.csp Not really all that suprising, but I do remember that there was some tension between the national team and Kanter so I wouldn't say that it was a guarantee that he would be on the team.
