Too bad everyone thinks it an amazing stadium. If that stupid ass HR sculpture wasnt there it would look much better. Its also in a really crappy part of Miami, but lets ignore that.

Idk left field looks like a wall from an airport and and the monitor looks cheesey, not to mention the fence on the third baseline looks stupid. In terms of the stadiums constructed in the past 10 years, it's the worst imho.

So basically because it doesn't follow the typical outfield wall pattern and color it looks stupid. Its also the first scoreboard without any ads around it or one of the few.

It's going to be great to watch Bryce Harper fail when he makes it to the MLB. He talks so much shit for a minor leaguer.

I hope that tool enjoyed being optioned down.

Definitely the right call to send him to AAA. 19 year olds have never succeeded in the Majors. Not even Mickey Mantle.

It would be nice if you're right, though, but unfortunately I think he is going to be as advertised.

Bryce Harper is a monster lol, as much as I've hated him on for dropping out of high school and the on field antics, dude has raped every level of competition he has seen.

In other news, Rays dropped Tim Beckham, super fail, probably the only big name I can remember not working out for them as of late.

Even better than watching Harper fail, will be watching Lawrie fail much worse than Harper. I hope that scrub has a terrible career.

Meant to say 19 year old hitters ^_^

That show "Clubhouse Confidential" on MLB Network actually did an entire segment on it. Very interesting stuff. There actually was one 19 year old that had an above average season, but honestly I can't even remember who it was because it was so random.

nice Mariners ballin

on side note...

“Guys having a beer after their start has been going on for the last 100 years,’’ Lackey said. “This is retarded. It’s not like we were sitting up there doing it every night. It’s not even close to what people think.’’

It's Uni Watch's 2012 MLB preview!

  • Last year the Angels celebrated their 50th anniversary by changing the halo on their jersey and cap from silver to gold. This year it's back to silver. Also, you'd think the team already had enough iterations of its "A" logo scattered around the uniform, but they've added a new one with this sleeve patch. (One fan has joked that the team's 2013 uni will probably look like this.)
  • • The Astros came into existence 50 years ago (although they were called the Colt .45s back then), and they've come up with a doozy of an anniversary patch, which will be worn on all the team's jerseys and caps. They'll also be wearing throwbacks from their illustrious uni history for Friday home games. As you may have heard, there was some controversy back in February when it turned out that MLB had instructed the team to remove the gun from the Colt .45s throwback, but a storm of fan and media backlash led to the firearm being restored. Don't mess with Texas!

  • • The Dodgers will mark the 50th anniversary of Dodger Stadium with a sleeve patch. They've also made some extremely subtle changes to their primary logo and even subtler changes to their cap logo.
