Lakers looking to follow this up by picking up Beasley. That would likely require them to deal their other pick this year.

After trading for Ramon Sessions, the Lakers are still expressing interest in Michael Beasley. Three-team deal is still a possibility.

Nice to see Kapono back in Cleveland...he could be useful as we need more 3 point shooting. Walton probably won't play...this deal is mainly about the pick.

Happy for Ramon...deserves more playing time. Lakers fans know how good he can be if they watched the game last year when the Cavs beat the Lakers.

Eyenga showed great signs last year, but he must've really dropped off, because he's barely played. He's got great hops, but he's still pretty raw. I think due to Gee's emergence, the Cavs felt they could let him go. Will miss him too.

1) Kapono sucks. He bricked threes, wide open threes, all season long for us...until we just sent him to the bench as if he was Walton.

2) If Walton plays, it won't be fun.

Despite the Lakers acquiring Ramon Sessions I think trading Derek Fisher was a dumb move; the chemistry that Fisher and Kobe Bryant has is not coach-able. No one even knows if Session's will even work out playing a long side Bryant.

After stiffs like Chucky Atkins, Smush Parker, and Derek Fisher starting for LA, getting Sessions is AMAZING even if he's just an average player. Add to the fact that Mitch actually got Gilbert to agree to take on Luke Walton and it's an AMAZING deal. And just like that Mitch has fully ridded himself of all his past mistakes: Kwame, Cook, Sasha, Radmanovic, and now Luke.

My only concern is Session's ability to spread the floor. If Artest is still starting, then LA needs a PG that can spread the floor or else LA is still playing 5 on 3 offensively when teams pack the paint. I guess they could just start Blake and bring Sessions off the bench in the meantime.
