magicbalala245 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Share Posted June 9, 2012 A source close to Orlando Magic All-Star Dwight Howard said Wednesday that he still loves Orlando and isn't seeking a trade. In an interview with WESH 2 News sports anchor Larry Ridley, the source said Howard is bothered by the hit his image has taken since this season's trade rumors and problems with Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy. The source said Howard is "hurt by all the negativity surrounding him (and) doesn't understand why he's blamed for everything that happens inside the (Magic) organization." Owner Real Deal Posted June 9, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted June 9, 2012 He wants to put this out there, so the Magic don't deal him to whatever team they wish this summer. There are going to be SOME teams that want him as a one-year rental, thinking they can convince him to stay (like the Lakers, who believe winning cures all). Howard just wants to be a free agent, so he can go to any team he wants (at that point, he can choose the team, and Orlando will either have to let him walk for nothing, or get ANYTHING in return, even if it's small). He isn't comfortable with the heat that comes along with wanting out of Orlando, so he might want to give the impression he is staying.
