SRV
http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/sports/Greg-Oden-Interested-in-Joining-Heat-162244715.html I know this came up earlier in the year, Oden said he wanted to play for us. Do you see us taking a chance on him? I would love if took a chance on him, no one knows what he is capable of, and if he is really still injured, we can let him play limited minutes until he gets back into the speed of the game. There are no more worthy centers we can go after, and with the news of Dwight possibly going to LA, the green light should come up in the front office to make a move for a center. I don't expect him to be the answer to stop Dwight, but its a better option than Bosh or Anthony covering him. TheNotoriousBANG
he would give eddy curry a run for his money as the most worthless center that should have been worthy in the league
Flash
Play him 15-20 minutes if that in the regular season and then see if you can bump that up to 20-25 in the post season. Would be a HUGE upgrade if he manages to play a full season.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 15, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 Not sure why he's even trying to come back right now. He should take a full season off. But, regarding Miami taking a chance on him, I see no reason why they shouldn't. It'll be for the minimum, anyway.
Nitro
Darko cleared waivers, so he should be the guy Miami goes after. If he get signed somewhere else, then Oden could be a project they take a chance on.

Abro
Yeah I agree with Nitro that Darko would be better to go after first and foremost. Even if they get Darko, I still don't see why not to give the minimum to Oden if he'll take it, honestly.
